Debt collectors
Thanks very much for your message! It's VERY helpful!
My name is not COLE. I do not even know a COLE. Everyday, I get Collections Calls. One for a Girl Name Barb & now one for a Guy name Cole...This is ****!
looking for my son wont tell me the reason so i wont tell them where he is
calling for my son whom i have had no contact in months and have told these people this
ann @ enhanced recovery corporation 800 459 0781 they mailed me and tried to****ign a debt that I did not own
wrong number. They have been calling me for 3 years and 3 times a day.
They keep calling me from different numbers also from
I received this call tonight at 10:45pm eastern time, they woke my sleeping toddler and my husband....couldnt beleive it...wth...all my numbers are on the do not call list...but to call at this time of night is disrespectful and inconsiderate irregardless of who owes them money they should never call at this time of night.
Don'tknow if it is man or woman. Never leaves a message. In reading the remarks from other eople who have received calls from this number I guess it must be debt collector. I don'towe anyone.
tired of these calls
I have also been receiving automated calls from this number - it's been about a month now. I****umed it was some kind of scam because they never say a name and never say the reference number.
I get the same message as Doug..."if you are not this person please **** up or delete this message as it is not for you. This is Ann with enhanced recovery corporation. We are a collections agency attempting to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please contact me about this business matter at 800-459-0781 and provide the following reference number" then it just ****s up. They do not leave a name of who they are trying to get hold of or any other numbers. The funniest part is that I owe nothing to anyone!! The only two bills that I owe is my car and house of which are both paid up to date. I just checked my credit reports and they reflect this too. I believe that this is some sort of scam or they have the wrong person. I guess I will never know.
I got a call from this number early this morning, and the automated voice mentioned that it was a collection agency trying to reach a specific person. I didn't understand the name, but the voice said that if I wasn't this person that I should just **** up. I didn't and kept listening as the voice told me that the person they were trying to reach was overdue on bills and that to learn more information I should call another number during the week. I used to work for a collection agency and I am aware that some of the rules for collection were broken during this phone call. First of all, they are not allowed to say that this person owes money. All they are allowed to do is say "This is so-and-so collection agency calling for 'Joe Smith' and he should call back at this number" unless they have confirmation that they are actually speaking to the person with the debt.Additionally, they are only supposed to continue to call 3 times before declaring the debt un-collectible unless it is over a specified dollar amount, depending on the state. I have read other peoples' comments saying that this number continued calling for a year. This is ILLEGAL!
The company is Enhanced Recovery Corp a debt collection company based in Jacksonville, FL.They call me 2 or 3 times per a day, and usually leave an automated message (which is illegal in the state I live in). The message s****s out in mid sentence.... "if you are not this person please **** up or delete this message as it is not for you. This is Ann with enhanced recovery corporation. We are a collections agency attempting to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please contact me about this business matter at 800-459-0781 and provide the following reference number" then there is a long pause and finally the message ends. They dont provided a reference number and I think they may be running a some type of scam.
Although I told them that I am not the person that they are looking for, they are still calling me.
Stop callin me, I am not the person they want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I answered the phone there was a recording... very annoying. They did, however, identify themselves and there reason for calling. I returned the call and they picked up immediatly. I told them there was no one here by the name they were looking for, and they said my number would be removed. They were very nice. We'll see if they do what they said.
These people called & gave me the same message as mentioned by another caller about **** up if it is not you. The caller id and the call back number did not match. I called the call back number to try to get myself taken off their list--it referred me to an "enhanced directory****istance" )702 589 9300 that they said would appear as a charge of 3.95 or somesuch on my phone bill. Needless to say I did not call the number... Seems like a scam even though they say they are bill collectors. They also block their caller id name.
Calls on cell phone from a collection agency. Called to be taken off of list but they did not respond. I have no outstanding bills. I am afraid that this is a phone scam.
call to a business number. no debts or other issues, so why the call? Random telemarkeing/collections, wasting our business phone.
calls saying they're looking for someone and if I'm not that person to **** up. The call came in at 8:30 CST. I guess they're not aware of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act. 6929
They leave a message to call this number and I have no idea why they are calling my cell phone.
No idea who these people are. I strongly resent them calling my home at 8:25am ... and waking me up. Unconscionable.
Message says is for blank =no name is given = about collecting a debt. Don't owe any past debts. They want you to call them back immediately but line is always busy. Calls several times a week
I received a call (actually, an automated call/message on my answering ma****e while on vacation this week) from this number. Never a mention of a company name, but was supposedly offering a reduced rate on some sort of loan. Message was kind of odd. Funny - we have no outstanding debt except a very small (and 100% current) credit card and one auto loan. All of which are and always have been on-time. This call said to press a certain number on your phone to opt out. Considering that we are on the national "Do Not Call" list, seems that this is a random telemarketing call. What I have also discovered - the national Do Not Call List is basically worthless. You report telemarketers, but all the FTC does is keep a database. They do not engage in enforcement. So what is the point?
Says they're calling to collect a debt. I don't owe anyone anything and I have a virtual internet phone number that's not listed anywhere and I don't use it for any of my accounts.
They called on my cell phone. (I am on the national do not call list). When I called back they finally identified themselves and gave a name of and unknown person. I told them no such person and to remove my number. Now my voicemail is blocked and my provider is unable to unlock. I can no longer receive voice messages.

If these guys are legit, then why are they using an auto-dialer? The te***apper tone they got from me ****ed them off a little too easily.
My cell is on the do not call list, and They call every morning waking me up never leaving a message.
I answered but no one on the line.
my cell # is on the do not call list
some woman, possibly a redcording, saying to call her number. does not say who she is calling for only that it is a debt collection
they called me saying that this is from my sprint bill
Calls everyday leaves no message
they need to stop calling!
Enhanced Recovery CORPORATION................my Bad
This is a good one. My fiance filed bankruptcy two weeks ago and the Automatic Stays went out a week ago and we know the creditors received them because we had control letters sent also. These guys from Enhanced called yes****ay and left a message. I called them back. I told the young lady that her company was violating a Federal Court order and that if they failed to comply I would have our attorney so advise the court. She asked me if I thought that they were "Psychic" and said my fiance had to advise them that she had filed Bankruptcy. I laughed at her and said that I didnt care what she thought. She ***g up on me. I called back to talk to a supervisor. They were in a meeting. So I waited until today, and then called back. The first guy I told what was going on said that I was threatening them because I told him they were in violation of a Federal Court order. I said Lemme talk to your boss. David Crow was the Boss's name and he was the first intelligent and competent person I spoke with at this company. He asked for our attorney's name and Phone # to confirm the Bankruptcy, apologized for his employees idiocy and held his temper while I vented a little. I suspect he will not be at this loser company for long. Do not pay these guys anything. Their ****ods are reprehensible. Tell them that if they call you. Say, "I acknowledge the debt, but I will not pay your company any money because you are untrustworthy and have a bad reputation." They will be out of business in a year. I confirmed that this is definitely Enhanced Recovery Systems, they are located in Jacksonville, Florida
I'm on the do not call list for years. They keep calling.
Keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number even though I am on Do Not Call Registries. Unfortunately this appears to be a collection agency that will not stop calling until they get a call back from w***ver it is they are looking for. They will not bother to take you off the list even if you request it - they won't trust you have nothing to do with the person they're looking for just because you say so. I'm going to try to find where I might 'officially' complain.
I've been receiving calls from this number for quite a while. I finally decided to call them back. Several times the number was busy, other times I was ***g up on. I finally talked to a man and managed to tell him that the person they usually ask for does not reside at this number and never has and I do not want to hear from them a***n.He said, he'd remove my phone number. We'll see. Not holding my breath.
they call and leave a message saying 'this message is for blahblahblah if you are not this person delete this message, we are a collections agency attempting to collect a debt'...
They call themselves Enhanced Recovery Corporation but in leaving a message they conveniently leave out YOUR name or THE FILE REFERENCE NUMBER to which they ask you to refer. BEWARE
