Leave a CommentThis number was included in a mail that was made to look official to mislead people it came from the government so that they'd call this number. The sender stated on the returned address line: "COSTA MESA CA 92626 Official Business "Penalty for Private Use $300." On the bottom they said: "WARNING:$2,000 fine and/or 5 year Imprisonment for any person interfering or obstructing with delivery of this legal adverti*****t. US mail secretary. 170B." Therefore, they used a US Code to imply the mail was official. The mail included a metered stamp of "US Postage paid in Santa Ana, CA, Permit #1076."
