My works toll free number is one different from this number and we hjave been getting a lot of elderly sounding people calling us because of a misdial, looking for different banks so I looked into the number because it seemed weird. They act like they are the number you call to report fraud OR activate a new card. They want you to enter your card info and if you dont have that they ask for your social security number!! And this number is associated with many different bnaks online, The websites look like spoofed websites of the real banks,
This is some sort of a scam or s****ed number. I didn't answer, but the message left was an automated voice regarding "a fraud alert." Real fraud alerts have a person who wants to question you, not a robotic voice, which directs you to "Press 1 to connect with a fraud specialist." This just means a computer generated call was made to you so they can just capture your info to add to their "verified" information list for****ential fraud candidates to use for scams.
