Leave a CommentGot a call from this number today and a recorded message answered talking about some file he received on me and that I needed to call him back but I didn't get the number because he only said it once and I didn't have a pen handy so I called the number and it was Regent****et Management a debt collection company that is known for calling and claiming you have a debt with them when you probably don't. I know I have no debt with them because we filed bankruptcy over a year ago.
With GE - whom I have never had any business with. Won't stop calling my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call list.
Lady called to ask if I wanted to extend warrany on my refregerator. The last warrenty was up in July. The refregerator is 6 years old and I do not recall getting an extension that was up last month. I asked her for a copy of the extention but she told me that was not available. Sounds legit but I still have some doubts.
Constant day and night calls.
No name on caller ID - we ignore that kind of call.
no ID, no message

Women said she was calling about warranty on dishwasher. Caller ID said Gen Electric. I don't own a GE dishwasher
phone on cell phone
Woman called and asked for me by first name. She saids, "She is calling about my washer and dryer service agreement. I commented she had the wrong number and she ***g up prior to me finishing sentence.
This number is a call from the GE service warranty center. I rec'd a call today and declined to renew my warranty. After I ***g up, I realized I haven't had a GE dishwasher in 5 years, so that puzzled me. I called back and the woman answered by saying "GE." I explained the situation and she told me that even though I didn't own a GE, the major stores in my area get their warranties thru GE. After speaking with her, I believe it is a legitimate call. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a scam trying to get my credit card number. She was very polite and professional and seemed to have the correct information already on file.

Getting a lot of calls from 800 Service. Last one supposedly a request to extend a product warranty. Don't want these calls though I suspect some may be legit. Is this a single organization? How would one go about tracking them to their source?
Lady said she was with GE and was calling in regards to the warranty on my refrigerator. Sounded legit and she claimed to have my fridges serial number and purchase date on file to help validate their iden***y.
