Called "Greenwood & Hall" directly at 888-344-4100 after receiving two ****ups from 800-490-3911 and sear****g it on the interwebs. A receptionist answered with "Thank you for calling Greenwood & Hall, how may I direct you call?" I asked to speak with a supervisor for the 3911... With out promts from me she asked if I had requested financial aid information from "Education Advance" or filled out any online surveys for education loans. I said no and asked to be removed from the call list and speak to a super... then played the "let me put you on hold and find someone" game... be prepared for long waits kids. ;-)

After MANY ****up calls, & after MANY return calls, I think I have tracked down useful info.Return calls may state "call can not be completed as called" or "you have reached a # that is disconnected" or you will reach a "voice mail system".  If you're "lucky", you will get a serv rep for "Education Advance" or another corp rep.1-800-490-3911 belongs to Greenwood & Hall (some type of Call Center/outsource co).  Website is http://www.greenwoodhall.com/After MANY calls, I discovered that if you call 1-800-490-3911 & rec' voicemail, PUNCH in 1000 or any other 4 digit Xtension.  The voicemail sys will keep you on hold for 30+ min (remember, calling a toll-free # DOES NOT cost you money - it only costs money to the rec'ing co). Always use a speakerphone sys for "ease of use".After MANY CALLS, I was finally put in touch w/ a rep of "Greenwood & Hall". After more "pushing", I was put in touch w/ a "supervisor" of "Greenwood & Hall".  "Supervisor" admitted that "Education Advance" is an****ociate. "Supervisor" admitted that MANY other co's are****ociated, so CANNOT determine how 1-800-490-3911 got phone #. "Supervisor" stated that can remove phone # fm database immediately. "Supervisor" stated that reps w/b "educated" so that ****up calls are not SOP.I DO NOT believe the "Supervisor", but so far (2 days later), I have not rec'd more calls. Maybe the "supervisor" was truthful.Feel free to HARASS 1-800-490-3911 (MAY TAKE time[hrs] on the phone) or "Greenwood & Hall" at http://www.greenwoodhall.com/ or 1-888-344-4100.  A ****up call IS HARASSMENT (so trying to return the call CANNOT BE considered harassment).Feel free to provide info to your local/state/federal law enforcement personnel (charge of harassment by wire).

Same problems as everyone else...calls received several times a day, and no message is left.  My cell # is on the "do not call" list, which means they don't check it.....

For everyone's info this number is NOT from http://www.educatio***vancecorp.com/The company that keeps calling is another company from San Francisco using the same name. The Education Advance website listed is in New Jersey and provides tutoring for school districts. It's unfortunate that the two companies have the same name but the Education Advance company with the website listed here does not do outgoing calls or handle student loans of any type. I know because I work for them and we have received a ton of calls from upset people who looked up Education Advance online and found us first.We are trying to get so****ing done about this as soon as possible. We've tried repeatedly to get a hold of the people who keep calling but we haven't had any luck either. We are currently looking in to what options we have. If we can find a real contact number or e-mail I will happily post it here.

I recieved a call.  He said somebody filled out a card and gave my number.  Has not called back, but another numnber is now calling me...1800-259-7187

I have gotten a couple of these calls.  I am sure that I have never asked for any information.  I have been getting about 2 calls per day.

Called me twice today, I have not picked up.....but what the***** is it?

I get about three calls a day, I never answer, and no messages are left.  I'm also on the Do Not Call registry, and if these phone calls don't stop i'm going to do a bunch of drugs and set so****ing on fire.

I received a call this morning from the same man with the southern accent and he  became extremely belligerent when I asked him to remove me from the list, then ***g up on me.  I had to call the number back to get them to remove me from their list

Obnoxious man with slow, thick southern accent called me with this number. He knew my full name. I pretended to be a relative and asked if it was a salescall. He got indgnant and said I had requested information, which is BS. When I asked if I could take a message, he said no , would call later, and ***g up.

receive at least 2 to 3 calls a day from this number. I don't answer and no messages are left. These calls are very annoying. I am on the Do Not Call Registry.
