This is really rediculous.  some guy called "Scott" called me and said he is from the D&B...Had a hard punjabi accent...i was unable to understand what he was asking for..Repeatedly he was asking "can i give him so****ing"..this sounds really bad and i felt very ambarrased...i replied that i am not that kind of lady..he left a call back number to me when i tried calling up..had some ringtone saying "Baag DK Bose, Baag DK Bose"...is it a joke or what

Recd a call from lady named Paula...Her staring script was "HI this is Paula from D&B and this is not a sales call"... I really do not understand what is going on.  Answering her questions herself

Whenever you try speaking to the supervisor, there is some guy with a thick indian accent (Kanpuria) accent.

Ya.  I really do not understand why people keep calling and say they are really from D&B.  They leave voice mails and whenever we tryin' calling them up, there is no greeting message and never receive a call back..  Sounds really fishy to me

Was contacted by someone a very strong accent and claiming they were with Dun & ***dstreet call us repeatedly asking what was the name of our business (when we are only farmers), my name, and to spell it.  They stated they needed proof we were a business.   After repeating and respelling this information about three times, they ***g up.  Then the next day they called a***n and left a voicemail requesting to call 8004980170 and left an extension number.  We listened several times to the voicemail, but could not clearly understand the male caller's name nor clearly determine the extension number that we were to call back.  We called the number and did not receive a live person, only a recording saying we had reached "D & B" and "to enter the extension number now."  No live person or even any other options or information at that.  We only received an answering ma****e to leave a message, not even identifying who we had called.  We left full information as well as an alternate number to contact but have yet two days later to hear anything else.  IF they are indeed from Dun & ***dstrett, you would think that they would at least higher Americans with clear and distinquished voices as well as follow up on their calls.

I received a call from 800 498 0170 x46336. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they refused. If this is REALLY Dun & ***dstreet, that would not happen....or maybe it's the bad business practices of the foreign company they have outsourced.Either way...NEVER give out financial information to anyone over the phone...especially if THEY are calling YOU with BAD or VERY OLD company information.I tried to call the number back. You must enter an extension and only talk to the person who called you.

This number actually belongs to Dun & ***dstreet.  D&B has its location worldwide and their one of the centers are location in India too.  This location deals with US businesses. I've worked with them and know that they are originally calling from D&B.  So, if next time, you receive a call from them, please be cooperative and provide infomation, as this is going to help your organization only.  It will help you to enhance your business.

i received a call from this number and i do not have a business i am afraid that someone has my information any advised on what to do or should i ignore this help please.

Got a ton of voicemails and actually talked to a real person from the "company" They told me they were verifying information but could not tell me for who.  As soon as the questions s****ed getting a little too personal, ie. financial type questions, I put a stop to it. They ***g up right away. Beware.

He called asking about business information and said he was with Dunn and ***dstreet. When I tried to get more information about what he needed, he got frustrated and s****ed asking more information about it. I told him to stop calling and that we were not interested in giving business information out.

Outsourced caller using the name "Norman" called our office looking to confirm the address of our corporate office (not our location) and other data-farming questions. I figured he was one more magazine salesman, told him he had the wrong number, and ***g up. He called back and claimed he was calling from Dun and ***dstreet and that they are updating their databases for their clients. I'm not trying to direct general abuse to people that speak English as a second language, but his accent was particularly thick, and I find it ridiculous that any business would hire representatives that their clients can't even understand. I tell the caller that I can barely understand a word he is saying, so he turned up the phone's volume. I gave him the number for the corporate office. He calls a third time several minutes later to complain about rea****g voice mail! What a nuisance! I find it very doubtful that he is calling from D&B, whose callers one would think would at least be intelligible. He had left a voice mail at the line on the corporate office from an untraceable number, but had left 800-498-0170 x25060 as his callback. All he said about the nature of his call was that he was calling from D&B to update business information.
