Leave a Commentit is NOT a scam, however, it is a 3rd party outside tele-sales agency, they are legit, but not the most trusting company to give your social security number to, even though they already have it visible if you have any affiliation with bank of america (shows how secure bank of america is, they really do sell your info) (called 'impact telemarketing' in woodbury nj, also another location called NCO in glassboro nj) they hire convicted felons, registered *** offenders and megan's law suspects, they pay cash, "1099" they have no sense of s****s, just a bunch of s*** bus-riding criminals and child ******ors, if you dont believe me, take a drive to 15 e. centre st, woodbury nj 08096 and have a look for yourself :)
it is a company and it is real bc u do have a bank of america card and i did work for nco in glassboro for bank of america so before you make comments know all the facts.
GENTLEMEN:PLEASE CANCEL MY ACCOUNT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELYTHANK YOULOUIS DENNIS
I have been charged $5.99 on my checking for the so called privcy****ist. I did not signed up for it. I call 1-800-516-9561 per Bank of America to get to the bottom of it. They would not credit my account and they were very ****. I am also dissapointed in Bank of America for not helping me. I am disgusted!! My money is being taken without my authority!
Privacy****ist Premium and 800-516-9561I put the phone number into Google and found this site and many, many others. This company is like a rash on the Internet - usually a good sign you don't want to deal with them.I have a checking account with Bank of America and never subscribed to this service. However, while updating my online activity on this normally inactive account, I noticed charges for $12.99 on 6-02-08 and 4-28-08. This included the phone number and entry listed as "800-516-9561 DES:PrAsstPrem ID". I immediately contacted BofA by secure email and they answered that is was a ACH (Automatic Clearing House) transaction. "These transactions are a contractual agreement between you and the merchant. Therefore, I recommend you to contact the merchant in question."BofA refused to correct the problem although offered to let me file a formal dispute. I called Customer Service and they recommended I contact the merchant to see if they would offer a resolution first. I did so. At Privacy Premier****ist, the foreign voice said they had a key log of my choice to enroll (which they don't) and so****ing else. She claimed that I had affirmed wanting the service by pressing 1 once when I called Bank of America's customer service number. I said I had done no such thing. And I've never received any mail or credit reports from them. After a short discussion of how un-interested I was in their service, she offered to refund the 2nd charge but said she couldn't refund the 1st charge. I said that wasn't acceptable. I said, I know you'll end up having to give all the money back eventually, so why not save some time and just do it now. And after waiting a short time on hold, she came back and said I'd get my refund in 24 to 48 hrs. I'll post here a***n regarding that refund. As for the Do Not Call registry - this company doesn't apply. Since Bank of America is supplying them with your private information to contact you in the first place, you have no recourse with DoNotCall. Most here who say they don't bank with BofA likely have a credit card which is processed by them. The solution obviously is for Bank of America to sever their relationship with this shady company. I doubt that will happen as long as they're making money from it. However, if enough people complained directly to BofA and filed formal disputes, it might have some effect.
Someone just called me from this number and began asking me about my Bank of America acct. They asked me about a credit ending in a number that i didn't own and about a social security number that was not mine. i called this number to verify the man's employment...866-742-6868. His name was Remo Malgieri ane employee code RM1810. The man who answered said the wrong last name. The original scammer called me back and at this point i am thinking that i am a victim of iden***y theft and need his help.,..so he tells me to call this number to report to...800-516-9561 and a young lady answered and could not find me in the system and (Lord Help Me!!) got my name and all my numbers. I then looked up both numbers in google and it really is a scam.
I got that call moments ago. They offered a privacy****isted credit report for free for the first 30 days. If interested, they would send me the reports within 7-10 business days. To cancel and not be billed, I needed to call the provided number (which I do not yet have) within 30 days. Otherwise, my BoA credit card would be charged $12.99 a month.
