All they want to do is "talk" your thru whatever. (4 ) problem u have have. You keep telling them hey it is not working. Now they finally say their equipment is defective. Well duh!!!!

On the other hand it is direct but for public we just installed direct tv about a week ago. They cannot their **** to work. So far the service is horrible

I was supposed to have a tech come and do an installation so direct tv was calling me to let me know. I did not answer cause I didn't know who it was. Thanks to all of you, now I know who it is. : )

When I called Direct TV regarding a letter that had been sent out to me, not only did it sound like I was talking to someone on the FLOOR OF WALL STREET DOING A STOCK MARKET TRANSACTION, there were people talking so loud that I could not even hear the Direct TV representative.ALSO, of the 5 people that I spoke with, NONE OF THEM (3 WERE MANAGERS, SUPPOSEDLY), KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT MY LETTER AND I HAD TO READ THE LETER DIRECTLY TO THEM!!!  THE LAST MANAGER I WAS READING MY LETTER TO ***G UP THE PHONE ON ME!!!DIRECT TV NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!!!!  THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!I FINALLY SET UP MY TV SERVICE FOR DIRECT TV THROUGH MY PHONE COMPANY AND BUNDLED MY ACCOUNT THAT WAY!!I JUST SIGNED UP FOR SERVICE!!!  I AM NOT IN ANY DEBT OF ANY KIND!!!

It is direct TV and I do not have an accnt w/ them.  They call and put you on hold to take a wrong # call.  I have had about 10 calls now.  Also, I have called and told them wrong # wrong person on numerous occassions.  I s****ed writing down their reps names and their promises of calls to stop.  I have had this cell about a year and they are the only ones who call for an Orville guy.  I canceled his appt with them today and it only took talking to 4 reps and getting ***g up on a few times to get to a guy who says he is like a supervisor but not one a tech and it will take 7-10  days for the calls to stop.  I told them I would look up and find out who this person they are calling for is....call them cuss them out and then call them back and tell him how to find him.

I received a call from 800-519-1823. I was not available to answer and they did not leave a message. I have an installation scheduled for this Tursday 2/26/2009. Should I call back?
