He said he was from AMEX Fraud Dept and asked for the last 4 of my Soc.Sec.#...I hung up and called AMEX. SCAM!

Purchased new computer online and received a call from this number to verify so****ing regarding the purchase. Sounded like a computer monitored voice, requesting to speak with holder of the credit card. ***g up and blocked.

Blocked them in the past, 6 months ago. Somehow they were able to call me. someone needs to shut them down.

This number call and text as they are AMERICAN EXPRESS.Verified with AMEX who confirmed this number is not related to AMEX !!! Block this numberASAP

This number claims that they are American Express, verified with American Express and this is not from their Credit Card Organization.

From the gap in comments,it looks like they stopped for a while, but they're back. I got a missed call with this ID this past week. I stay ahead on my c/cards,so I know they have no business calling me.

Several times a week a call comes from 800-528-4800. Does anyone know who they are and how to stop them?

800-528-4800 did not call me, but this phone number showed up as a reference on a bogus charge to my credit card.  I looked it up on a reverse phone site and got 4 different listings for that number. Weird.

I got an automated call from this # saying my debit card had been deactivated and asked for my account info.  My debit card works fine.

From this number I am receiving TEXT messages on my cell phone regarding home mortgage marketing. I don't own a home. I don't deal with banks. I'd sure like to know where they got my cell number and how I can get them to stop texting my cell!  Any suggestions, anyone?
