Leave a CommentThis is a scam posing as USAA. If you've ever used USAA you know this is NOT how they do business. Call USAA and they will tell you what to do to report it so they can investigate it.
DO NOT provide information to the representatives calling from USAA. I just spoke to a rep from USAA with the who said that USAA will never call you to verify your banking information. I did not give this guy a chance to go into his little script but if you receive a call be sure to recoud the number and name of the person you speak with. The more information you can gather about these iden***y thieves the better.

I also got a call from this number with hold music for about 15 seconds. I ***g up, I do have USAA insurance.

Same number but I didn't pick up the phone. If it's a number like that, I usually wait for them to leave a message. If it is really important I figure they'll leave a message.

I got a call from this number and heard hold music for about 10 seconds and i ***g up. i do have USAA, but don't know why they would have called.
