Leave a CommentI am glad I searched FLP evaluation center. The lady who called me is Renee Davis.
Hello,I am an employee of the FLP Evaluation Center. I am glad I came across this post, yet apologetic. I apologize for any inconveniences that the FLP Evaluation Center has caused anyone of you, or anyone at all for that matter. Our objective at the FLP Evaluation Center is to raise awareness a****st homeowner who carry risky mortgages. Over the last eighteen months, the FLP Evaluation center has educated thousands of homeowners about the mortgages on their homes. After speaking with so many homeowners, we realized that the vast majority of them were unaware of crucial attributes of their loans that could****entially lead them to default or even foreclosure on their mortgage. In the past, we have specifically contacted homeowners who carried either “Adjustable Rate Mortgage" or "Negative Amortization" loans on their home. This is public "***le" information, yet most homeowners are unaware of how their loans actually work. One major component behind the "mortgage meltdown" has been a lack of consumer awareness. Our organization seeks to educate homeowners with regards to this matter. Undoubtedly, this information can be alarming to homeowners... and yes, we do believe, in fact we know, (and 9,000 foreclosures a day prove ) that "it is imperative to address this matter before it is too late"... for everyone. While public records are not always one ***dred percent accurate, if you received a phone call or letter from our organization, chances are that you too carry either an "adjustable rate mortgage" or a "negative amortization" loan. Our intent is not to sugarcoat this concerning matter. While we believe that it is your lender's responsibility to notify you of these****ential risks and to provide guidance and relief, our organization seeks to fill this void… a service that is lacking. Our organization has helped many (vocally grateful) homeowners uncover latent needs. We are not a non-profit organization. I wish we could get funding from the federal government because the public would benefit from it. I know that currently there are some organizations that are "supported" by the government, such as the 'hope now' organization. But the majority of those organizations are funded primarily by banks. This is flaw in the design of our country's corporate-governmental system. If you think about it, our governments officials are elected to office by using the funds that are provided to them by the same private organizations that they are supposed to "monitor"... then, the same government officials are pressured "lobbied" by the same private organizations that funded their campaign to serve their interests (I guess it would only be fair... since those private companies paid those elected officials way into office. jk). I know that it is unlikely for our organization to please everyone, but we sure would like to. Perhaps, if our organization paid special attention to being more transparent, everyone would benefit. Given the unscrupulousness that has plagued the home finance industry in recent years, i am not surprised by the comments posted on this page. In fact, according to the philosophy of our organization, that is, "for consumers to educate themselves", this forum is the evolution of consumers doing just that, "educating themselves". Yet, I am surprised and curious as to why neither one of the posts are by someone who has actually taken the time to speak with one of our representatives to really understand the services and benefit that our organization provides. Nevertheless, it has helped me (and likely the rest of our organization) to ***n some valuable insight and come to an epiphany. Thank you sincerely. I will advise two things to our organization: 1. An informative and easy to use website clearly describing our services. 2. We should leave our website address on every notice that we send and any voicemail we leave. I hope that you agree with these suggestions. Our management and staff would greatly appreciate any further advice (or criticism) that you could share with us. Call from Derek McCaw, saying he is from the internal control dept, and our address is up for the new mandatory census area in our state, they must perform a mandatory risk*********t. No letter, no company name, where else could I report this scam?
they scared the **** out of my 80 year old parents. i hate scammers
We also got a call from the same phone number giving the same return call number. Said he was from the Internal Control Department and was required to do a mandatory risk****essment on our property. He had our address. This is the 3rd time that we've gotten a call from from this "Internal Control Department". Here are other numbers that have called. Called from 310-284-2689 and asked to return call to Markus Karl at 888-278-***2 x 3843.
Call from Greg Hammond - said same things....internal control, madatory census...called and it said FLP Evaluation Company. Looks like a scam to me!
A message from my voicemail says" My name is Brian Thomas from Internal Control of LA" This guy talked about mandatory census tracking and risk management. Asked about our cooperation and to call him at 800-531-6817.I researched and found out it's a scam.
Arthur Mayer called from 1-800-531-6817 and said he wants to ask some questions to see if we were victims of loan fraud. Can't locate any information on reverse phone look up, he also called from phone number 1-213-225-0199 which is unlisted. California. Seems like a scam. does anyone know anything else?
Got a letter from them. It's somekind of loan company. They see what people refinanced last year and say we were identified as victoms of Predatory Lending. Bull****. Beware.
We got a vm from them and they said there were with Douglas County and they need to perform a "mandatory" risk****essment for the census. Got figure...
