Leave a CommentThis caller called at 6:56 pm and came across as "Unknown Name and Unkown Number" but the message was so soft, I could hardly understand the woman. She claims it's not a sales or solisitation call. Have no clue, I have no outstanding debts that anyone would be calling about. When I called the number, it just said the office is closed and to call back, no mention of business name.
This number is a number to FIA Card Services. It is the in house collection agency for Bank Of America. You can verify it by looking on your statements in the MISC section and it will show the company is not a scam. They have several numbers to different past due departments.5 days past due & 30 days past due (1-800-533-0231)90 days past due is a direct line to a supervisors desk (423-283-5053)and this is also the number for 120 days past due.Customer Service is (1-888-998-3413)Hope this helps.
This person keeps calling me at work claiming to be a credit ***nch at my bank. They wanted me to "verify" my inforamtion and call this number to make payment plans for my credit card because it was past due. I had already paid a couple of days before the due date on my bill. They said that this number was a direct line to a Tonya and a Tanya. Never called this number and the customer service number they gave me which is 1-888-998-3413.
Got this same call with 800-533-0231. Many msgs left. I called the number, finally, and some body answered w/"hello". They said they would have to ck the data base for my phone #, and since nothing came up, they tried my cell. I asked who they were and the man said he was with FIA card services. I don't know why they are calling. He wanted more info re: credit card # but I told him no way, I wouldn't give any information. He put me on hold a***n, but after several minutes, I ***g up. I have no idea what this is about. I filed a complaint w/the FTC. I will call B of A and give them my thoughts on this. I do have credit cards w/BofA but pay all my bills on time.
I could not hear iden***y of caller. When I called back after hours, recorded message did not give iden***y either.
This is a credit collection agency that bank of america uses, do not listen to them on the phone they will lie to you. They stated to me that if I do not give them a payment now over thew phone they were going to charge me all sorts of fees, and they also stated that if i try to pay through bank of america the payment will take a week to post and I would still owe the collection agency fees. This was all lies!! My advise is to find out the company whose account they are trying to collect on and deal with the original company directly.
Someone from this number calls my mom at least twice a day trying to get her to let them deduct payment for a credit card from her checking account. They claim not to have received a payment from her for several months. They give her the last four digits of a card she does not have. They can't even tell her what type card it is (Visa/Mastercard, etc) only that it's a Bank of America. She refused to give them her bank info (although they already knew some details). She told them when they sent her a statement and so****ing to mail them back with her payment, they couldn't do that. Because there is none to mail. When you call this number, it does not identify what company it is.
I retrieved the number 1-800-383-6611. I found out it was Bank of America credit card. I DON'T even have a credit card with them but someone I know does and my number was given to BOA as a contact number. Needless to say, when the account went a couple of payments behind, the phone calls came incessantly - a minimum of 15-30 calls per day for nearly a wee**** The calls s****ed right at 8am and didn't stop until right at 9pm. I refused to answer (my cell phone with limited minutes) and the couple of times I did answer (to get them to stop calling so much), they wanted to put ME on hold until a representative was available on their end!!! I finally went to the Bank ***nch and made a payment for my friend just to get them to stop calling. They waited a couple of weeks, then the calls s****ed A***N because the account was still past due, with a little bit more owing than I paid!!! It was a point of ridiculousness, to say the least and I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the way BOA credit chooses to do business like that. I have an appointment to speak with their credit high rankers to solve this constant calling (which I intrepret as just short of harassment).

These people called me 6 times within the last 3 days at my home number, which I cannot answer during the day since I am at work. My mother happened to answer the phone and could barely understand the caller, who seemed to be more accustomed to speaking Spanish than English. When she asked for a callback number, he provided 1-800-383-6611. I called this number from work, and listened to a recorded message in Spanish, with no English translation following. When they called my home number the next day, they provided a second number, which I called. The company called themselves "Card Services" and said that I had a payment past due on my account. I told the person on the phone I had recently made a payment, and they told me that they would make a note of that on my account. They then asked if I wanted to schedule a payment to my card through them. I had no idea if they were Bank of America or not, so I said no, that I could make a payment myself (I wasn't about to hand over my checking account number to someone on the phone).
Even after calling the number back and some woman claimed they didn't call me(I had written the phone number down)so I told them off and demanded that they take me off their call list and guess what happened the next day and the day after and will probably happen a***n today.... THEY CALLED A***N!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Ahh yes, Just found the name of that collector. Card Services is Bank of America. At least this time.....Joy.
Ahh yes, another collector. Called themselves Card Services, as every other credit card company collection agency does. They refused to identify a company name. Just gave the callback number. sigh....

Received a call from 999-999-9999 - caller ID says "name not found".They did leave a voice mail message and I was asked to call back an 800-533-0231. Now these people are resorting to tricks?What happened to the good old days when people didn't have to twist and lie?
