Leave a CommentI called and was told this offer was from Global Vacation Network in Ann Arbor Michigan. I was told I would get my mp3 player for just calling. Offer was on 02-01-08, I called on 02-04-08 and never heard from them a***n until this year when they were now offering a Ford Navigator and 3 lesser prizes to come and hear their sales pitch. I went to listen but it is just another vacation scheme to make them money while they supply substandard vacation packages. Their sales pitch was contrived to confuse the buyer. I asked to view the vacation spots but was told they could not be accessed without a membership. Stay away from this offer and company as there are other complaints online about them. The 800 No. is no longer active.

See also 866-930-3999. Sounds similiar
Just received the post card and thank you for doing the research and I will not have to waste time I don't have to look into it, however it is spam mailing and I hope that they end up paying a price for it! In this day and the way the times are so tough on everyone, I hope no one got caught up in it. It is especially vulnerable on the elderly. So thank you for the comments.
4-30-08, received card in mail to call "800-535-6614 to receive Two Complimentary Round Trip Airline Tickets, Ticketing ID #1044-1516-7365".And Thanks to the person who wrote:"The phone number is that of a marketing company hired by Global Services. The scheme works like this: They promise you round trip airfare to anywhere in the USA in exc****e for you attending a sales presentation by Global Services. At the sales presentation, Global Services tries to sell you an expensive travel club membership. At the end of the sales pitch, to make good on their airfare promise, they give you a certificate with all sorts of conditions that you never agreed to that supposedly lets you get a complimentary vacation from a company called Worldwide Travel. Anyone who tries to use the certificate gets a seemingly endless run-around from Worldwide Travel.I sued Global Services in Small Claims court for misrepresentation and won $1,000.The marketing company is using a new phone number now, but here's a link to consumer testimonials about Global in connection with the original phone number:http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-413-5613Also, check out these customer experiences:http://groups.google.im/group/misc.consumers/ ... 8ce9731bf1054a3http://groups.google.com/group/misc.legal.mod ... d8c8246c0766a72Also, check out "Worldwide travel" and "Global Services" on complaints.com and ripoffreport.com .If, after getting all those facts, you still want to do business with these companies, feel free. But, remember to sue them when they don't keep their own promises. (An **** contract *IS* legally binding.)
I found some interesting info on this postcard. Look at Jan 28 post on http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-535-6614 for more info.
