Leave a Commenttelemarketing company calling on behalf of Capital One (credit card) To get removed call teh number back, listen to the automated voice, at the end push 1 on your phone, enter your 10 digit phone number and they'll remove you from their system as required by law.
3rd time today. I just let the fax pick up on ALL 800, 866,unknown,and private. Hope the scree****g annoys them enough to stop. If not, well, at least THEY have to pay for a connection.
I am getting fed up with the constant calls from this and many numbers. They are worse than a child at least most times when you say no to a child they understand. What's with these people who don't understand what NO means or I'M NOT INTERESTED
or how bout 111 222 3334
I too received this call but I also am getting the calls from 000-0000--Anyone know who this is??
We have been getting at least two phone call a day for the past month+ and a getting tired of these call . No one ever is ever there.
Just call the number back and listen to the automated girl talk for like 45 seconds, she'll ask you if you want to put your number on the "DO NOT CALL" list n u just punch in your number and you're set to go. There's no need for listening to this long thing and pressing 0 at the end. I just did it and it took me like 55 seconds.
They phone me at least 25 times a month and im really s****ing to get ****ed. They are just trying to get me to sign up for the credit card which i dont want. They s****ed the phone calls ever since i moved into a house with my gf.
I answered the phone to this #. It is Capitol One, a credit card company. I am posting this for those of you who are uncertain of who these pain in the **** people are. It was the 3rd telemarketing call I got within 19 minutes today. I have been getting so frustrated with all of them and have been getting angry. Today I have been giving them a hard time by pretending that I am clueless to what they are asking for. They end up ****ing up. I have also reported an unknown # which contained all 0's to the CRTC.
I use Primus Talkbroadband VoIP. I googled the number and got this post. Sounds like a telemarketing firm, scam, or collector. I forwarded it to the police telephone scam reporting centre. Take that ******s!I do this for a lot of numbers, junk faxes I redirect back to the CEO's personal fax, telemarketers I redirect back to their own customer information lines, ****s I redirect to Revenue Ca***a or the police. Collectors for bills that I refuse to pay because of some dispute that the company doesnt want to admit I redirect back to their own credit department number so they get someone else in the call centre.VoIP makes telemarketers fun. Just add their numbers to your call treatments and laugh at what their reactions may be. This one Academy place had like 16 fax numbers they'd send to me through. It took a while to stop it, but these guys sent me like 3 faxes a day for their ****** "How to be a better receptionist" ****. Their CEO must be fuming that his fax ma****e is now getting all of my 8 page faxes three times per day. They dont have his number in their system, so it must have taken them ages to figure out that it was my number..HAHA
This number is CONSTANTLY calling from the three phonelines we have in our house. The number will call up to 8 times in one day. When I answer it, no one is on the other end! On my call display it just shows the number, no name or anything. It has now come to the point where I just pick up the reciever and **** it right back up. The best part? They s**** at like 700 am. This makes me so mad! I will try the above advice, and I will do my best to sound polite and cheery, but when you get woken up at 7am for no reason it comes back to haunt you...
I keep getting calls every other day from someone trying to sell Credit Card of Capital One! Someone please send this ****** marketer to Afghanistan and also please send CEO of Capital One too.
Interesting reading to be sure.Yes we are also harrassed by this number and I will follow the advice above to get off the list. What I would like to add is the fact that the reverse look up engines refuse to show this number as valid?? comments please..annoyed in Calgary
I am ****ed off by getting calls from this number - I pick up the phone and just say "F**k U" - no matter who is on the other side.
I get calls from them. The company does small collections as well. I do owe some money and they are calling me to set up a payment plan.
Got a call from this number twice today. According to the person at the other end, I've been pre-approved for a Mastercard with the LOW interest rate of 19.8%. I said "Hold on, back up...did you say 19.8%?, to which he said "yes". I just laughed and said good-bye.
I'm a resident in Ontario Ca***a and this number s****ed showing up on my c/d earlier this week twice daily. Simple rule, Unknown no answer
Hi everyone, I used RC's information and it worked.... No more calls. Do EXACTLY as is stated below and they are more than happy to comply. One note though, you have to press 4 while listening to the options as asking for the complience manager only led to voice mail. Pressing 4 puts you through to the manager immedeatly. hope this helps....Hi: For those of you worried about 800-544-9052, it is an organization called ITC Group. www.ictgroup.comWhere do you find that? I called them back and then googled their corporate name from the voice mail. How to opt out?1. Be absolutely friendly, no chip, no anger--and smile (it comes across on the phone)2. Call 800-201-1085 3. Listen to all the messages and then press zero.4. Ask nicely to speak to the compliance manager so you can opt out of their calling system. A little politeness goes a long way. Every day, people call them and give them a lot of grief and anger. Be different, putting them in the mood to help you opt out.5. Politely tell the compliance manager that you would like to opt out of recieving telephone calls from their group of companies. U.S. regulation covering opting out are very good on this.6. Tell them the number(s) you would like to be put on their no-call list.7. Chat with them while they go on-line and permanently block you out of their calling system. 8. Be patient. it takes about 24 hours to clear your name out of the systemCaller ID: unknown
Numerous calls from this number. A***n, with caller ID, if we do not recognize it, we do not pick up. Thanks for the advice RC, may try it but I am relucyant to nicely ask someone who is knowingly harassing me to please stop. Hopefully my silence is driving them nuts......
must be a rotaitonl reply line. its always a different 800 number
Picked up and there was an actual person on the other end pit****g Capital One Mastercards.
Received 3 calls within 10 minutes from this number. The third time I tried answering the phone. No one there - but no dial tone either. 10 minutes after I tried this, I got a call from "Private Number" - all calls are coming to my FAX number - unlisted and I normally do not answer unless I am notified ahead of incoming faxes.I'm sure this is a "s****ed" incoming caller ID. I now have placed an "out of service" telco tone on my answering ma****e to "s****" them back into thinking this is an out of service number. We'll see if this works.
