This number calls here about 5 to 10 times a day, and has for about two weeks. A few times there has been a person on the phone, but most of the time it's a recording that says all of the agents are busy.
I get repeated calls and they **** up.
These people keep calling my 90-year-old grandmother. They won't give us ANY information (we wouldn't know who they were, if I hadn't looked it up online). It seems as if it may be a company calling about a formerly past due bill. They're called Beneficial Finance. They send you a big check and then ask you to come in and get a loan. My grandmother had the wrong granddaughter with her that day, because I would have shredded that check before she even saw it.My grandmother was ill (cancer) and eventually filed for hardship. She began paying the new payments that she set up with a representative. Apparently, that is not good enough. If they continue to call 10 times a day, even while receiving payment I am going to find a way to give them what they deserve legally. They really should have customer service representatives when they don't actually represent the good of any customers. This is predatory lending at its best and it's only a matter or time before the law catches up with them. How can we resolve anything, when they keep ****ing up on us? Thanks, Kay. Way to do your job. I hope I'll be able to go the way of D. Howard who sued them... and won. But to be perfectly honest, my grandmother is no spring chicken. She's freakin' 90. If this continues and I can't sue them, I will c****e her number and they'll have to wait for a life insurance check, provided we haven't waited them out. Seven years is not that long.

I get called by these people 6 - 10 times a day. Usually the calls come in clumps....3 or 4 within a couple of hours..then we get a respite...then it s****s up a***n. I fell behind one payment in November. The December statement showed a double payment due by December 28th. The calls were coming in thick as thieves. I made the November payment three weeks late....(Christmas, ya know) the calls are still coming in. Even though I am caught up. I just made the December payment today and have received so far 5 Beneficial calls this evening since I got home from work 5 hours ago. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We will see how it goes.
I get phone calls from this number at least 3 or more times a day. They never leave a message. I don't answer 800 numbers as you never know who is calling. I have called back to see who is calling it is HSBC I used to have a Mortgage loan through them.
Calls began the morning of Christmas eve, skipped Christmas day, band have continued thru the weekend Sa****ay & Sunday...
I am getting this repeated call and it sounds like someone is calling for "mom" or "molly". I tell them its the wrong number but they keep calling.
This number calls quite often. The earliest call has come at 7 am (PST) the latest call at 10:30 pm (PST). Every call they make is to a mobile cellular phone, ***ody ever answers, most likely a dialing ma****e, and after 5 seconds ***ody answers. The line with ***ody answering has been connected as long as 5 minutes, then a **** up. Several times they have connected to the voice mail and been connected to the voice mail for as long as 7 minutes without any message being left, just silence. Do not know who they are, have no reason they would be calling me. I am current on all my accounts on everything, have nothing outstanding, and do not do any business with HBC.http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/truthaboutcellphones.htmlhttps://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxhttp://www.bbb.org/chicago/business-reviews/f ... lmhurst-il-4757Business Contact and Profile for HSBC Finance Corp.Name: HSBC Finance Corp.Phone: (800) 547-8776Address: 961 N Weigel AveElmhurst, IL 60126-1058Yahoo MapWebsite: www.HFC.comwww.hsbcmortgageservices.comwww.hsbc.comwww.hsbcusa.comwww.orchardbank.comwww.household.comwww.Beneficial.comwww.accountcentralonline.comOriginal Business S**** Date: January 1878Prin****l: Shehad Mohammed, AVP/Customer Resolution DepartmentCustomer Contact: Shehad Mohammed, AVP/Customer Resolution Department - [email protected] Address: [email protected] of Business: Financial Services, Banks, Consumer Finance & Loan Co., Credit Card Processing Service, Credit Cards & Plans, Credit Services, Furniture-Retail, Investment Advisory Service, Investment Securities, Loans, Mortgage Brokers, Stock & Bond BrokersBBB Accreditation: HSBC Finance Corp. is a BBB Accredited business.Additional DBA Names: Bon-ton/Elder-****manHousehold Credit Services, Inc.Beneficial MortgagePolaris Star CardAccount CentralAmerican DreamcardHSBC Finance CorpReward Zone ProgramH S B C Securities (usa) IncHousehold Recovery ServicesHousehold Life Insurance CompanyHousehold Financial ServicesHousehold Mortgage ServicesHousehold Bank VISAHousehold Finance CorporationHousehold Bank FSBHousehold Automotive Finance CorporationOrchard BankBeneficial Finance CorporationHSBC Auto FinanceHSBC Card ServicesHSBC Bank NevadaHSBC Consumer LendingHSBC Mortgage ServicesHSBC Retail ServicesHSBC Taxpayer Financial ServicesDecision One Mortgage Corp.HSBC InsuranceMetris-Direct Merchants BankBusiness ManagementAdditional company management personnel include:Ms. Theresa Nicchia - Dept ManagerMs. Sandra X. These agencies may include:Illinois Department Of Financial and Professional Regulation100 W. Randolph9th FloorChicago, IL 60601(312) 814-2000www.idfpr.comDebt CollectionUnder the Federal Trade Commission's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, collection agencies may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representations or means to collect debts. They may not harass, oppress, or abuse any person while attempting to collect a debt. A debtor may be contacted between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. only and can be contacted at work unless instructed not to. If a consumer does not wish to be contacted by a collection agency via phone, he must state so by contacting the company in writing within thirty days. After doing so, the collector cannot call the consumer a***n. Collectors may not tell others about the debtor's personal finances. They are also not required to tell the consumer when they sell his or her account, so there is likelihood for a person to be contacted by a different collection agency regarding the same debt and having to dispute it all over a***n. Additionally, many debts have a statute of limitations, meaning they eventually expire and can be brought up as having passed their statute of limitations as a defense if the collector takes the alleged debtor to court and tries to sue him. Most of these time-barred debts expire between 4 to 6 years after going into default, with individual states having their own legislation regarding the exact amount of time. According to the Federal Trade Commission, however, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act does not prohibit debt collectors from trying to collect barred debts, as long as they do not sue or threaten to sue the consumer for the debt. It also must be kept in mind that not all debts have a statue of limitations. For instance, there is NO statute of limitations on federal student loans, most types of fines, past due child support, taxes in most cases, as well as on reporting the account to credit bureaus. The statute of limitations a***n depends on the type of debt and the given state's civil debt collection codes. Consumers should likewise be aware that even after a debt reaches its statute of limitations, if the consumer makes any payment on the debt or signs a promissory note, this may reset or res**** the statute of limitations. That is why it is crucial to make sure that the alleged debit is valid before making any payment. This stipulation differs from state to state, and by paying any amount of money it may renew a debt. When confronted with questionable debt, consumers should verify their state's statutes of limitations, write a dispute letter to the collection agency within 30 days of receiving the first collection notice, keep accurate records of all correspondence, and report any violations to their state attorney general, the FTC, and BBB.
