I am receiving phone calls from American Express over a debt I owe from more than twenty-five years ago. They phone me morning, noon and night, Sa****ays, Sundays and holidays. I have been on disability since the years 1999 and out of work since 19*** I have communicated with them before. No one has bothered me like them! How do I get rid of them?
Left threatening message didn't identify the company kept calling back although I ask them to communicate by mail only!

Found on Google:These guys call me fairly often. The number which shows up is 800-561-9118.American Collection Systems, Inc.(614) 776-5640(614) 839-5224 (Fax)(800) 561-9118 (Free)2500 Corporate Exc****e Drive,Columbus, OH 43231Email: http://acscollections.com I recommend to anyone who has been subject to their rude, harassing and intimidating activities file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General, and the Attorney General of the state in which you live. You can contact the Ohio Attorney General as follows:Please first go to :http://www.ag.state.oh.us/citizen/consumer/complaints.aspIt has useful information about filing complaintsYou can file a complaint online at:https://www.ag4ohio.govor you can get .pdf forms at:http://www.ag.state.oh.us/citizen/forms/consumer_comp_frm2008.pdf and you can file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General by calling: 877-244-6446I also recommend that you contact the attorney general in your own state. You can obtain information on how to do so by googling [ "your state" attorney general]It never hurts to tell them that unless they identify themselves you will file a complaint a***nst them for violation of the federal fair debt collection practices act, and then, after they refuse, or try to give you another lie or another demand that you identify yourself first,. then you simply say, "OK, I demanded that you identify yourself, you have refused. I am going to file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General for telephone harassment and for violoation of the fair debt collection practices act. Goodbye" and **** up. then, of course, you file the complaints with Ohio and your own state's attorney general. Finally, if you know who they are collecting for, then you can contact their client, the creditor, directly, and tell them that their agent is harassing you, lying to you, and violating the fair debt collection act, and demand that they instruct their agent to immediately apologize to you in writing and conform their actions to the law, and demand that they also apologize and confirm that they have so instructed the collection agency to do so, also in writing to you. You can also remind them that the collection agency is just exactly that: their agent and their actions are imputed to their prin****l, namely them. Advise them that if they don't, you will be filing a complaint a***nst them with your state and their state's (if a different state) attorney generals.
