I, like many of you have received numerous calls from this number multiple times a day. This company as a whole is nothing but incompetent, poor servicing idiots. The reps are idiots and when trying to resolve previous issues with this company I was met by nothing but the run-around and was left dealing with incompetent people. It's frustrating because even when my account is in good standing they continued to call and inquire about payments long before and after they are due.Terrible company, poor service, and incompetent employees.
First Investors... cannot understand why they call several times a day I refuse to answer anymore as I pay my car payment and they s**** calling before the due date I will not give them bank information over the phone EVER.
always call never leave a message.
Call at 8a on a Sunday, call at 9p at night, won't stop calling even when I tell them they have the wrong telephone number.
This call was from 1st Investors (at least they say they are). I received a call from them twice and answered the 2nd call. He said i was 17 days late on my August car payment and wanted me to make a payment immediately. This was already WEIRD because my payment wasn't due until 8/23/09 (at 4:20 :-P" and it was only 8/20/09 (not at 4:20 :-( when i received the call. He was even willing to post date the check for my financial convenience. I lied to him and said i didn't know my routing number and asked if "I" could call him back but he kept insisting on calling me back and wanted me to give him a time. I gave him a time but i'm not answering. I pay it via 'online bill pay' anyway.REMEMBER: If a person calls you and s****s wanting bank information. Make sure they are not trying to ***n your confidence just because they can tell you information that you can already find on the bill that you forgot to shredded.
Actually I posted the comment about asking them to remove my #, and while they seemed agreeable, they were back to calling me within a day. I called a total of 4 times until finally one operator told me that the individual operators have no access to the database to remove #s because it is automated. I was so frustrated with getting 5-6 phone calls per day to our FAX line and I've never had business with them. In fact, the # they were dialing, they had listed as a "Goeffrey so-and-so". Anyway, I finally filed a complaint with BBB of Atlanta via their website (You can google it), and they actually resolved it for me. Amazing that they could get it done and I couldn't! So that's what I'd suggest.
These people are really annoying. They keep calling asking for Thelma and even after telling them multiple times that she doesn't live here, they keep calling.
Just call the number back and ask them to remove it from their registry. They did it for me. Just be nice about it.
Calls severals times a day every day and when I've answered the person doesn't speak. I do not wish to receive call from this number or establishment.
This number belongs to 1st Investors they services Auto Loans for Gateway One. Their number is in India. I agree with Ruth that they do call almost every hour. When I called them they asked for my social security number (which in US is a***nt the law to ask for it over the phone) I have contact the Corporate Office for 1st Investors and filed a complaint. I was told the number was an automatic dial number when you are late on your payment. The funny thing is that I have never been late or missed a payment. My suggestion is that you call the Corporate Office at 800.249.6305 and speak to a customer service rep and file your complaint. Good Luck
I get a call from this number about 4-5 times a day. They never leave a message ( I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize). After reading the first post, I realize I did get a letter from my bank stating that they sold my auto loan as well. I have about 2 years left of this ****. This is a pain. By the way, I mapped the phone number and it says the phone number is registered in Africa. I thought this was one of those scams like the ones I get emailed about depositing somebody's check etc....
I receive calls from this number several times a day, throughout the week. They call every hour, almost on the hour. I never answer because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. They always leave a message but there is never anything or anyone on the message. Blank air.
I dont like them w***ver they are. They're always calling. Atleast 15 times a day. Its very irritating.
Now I know who it is. They have called me 42 times in 1 month. My number is registered on the do not call list and they still continue to call me. I never answer the phone when they call me. I don't want what they have anyway.
this caller calls numerous times during the day with no one at the other end of the phone.
This call is from 1st Investors. They call me constantly. My bank sold my auto loan to them after 3 years - I only have about 6 months left thank god. They're rude and complain that I have not paid my bill even tho it's automatically deducted from my account to them 2 weeks prior to it being due because of my employers payment schedule & my mortgage. One a**hole even tried to tell me that if I didn't authorize another month's payment that they would repossess my car that following Monday (this was late late sa****ay...after 9:00!)I told him fine - come and get it that way I could sue to get a new car. They never showed.Thankfully I've got 6 months left with them. Thank God I've got caller ID - this place causes my blood pressure to rise. The first time they called and told me they were going to repossess my car - I had a panic attack while at work and was rushed to the ER - thanks 1st Investors!
some computer animated voice and then a woman asking for Vincent?
