Leave a CommentReadout says: QWEST COMM. Caller claims to be a QWEST telephone rep making sure that your service is o.k. Then caller tries to sell you a repair/warranty package for all of your home electronic equipment. It's a scam that has hijacked the QWEST name. Beware!
Further Reasearch I did,found ot this is in fact a number 800-573-1311 used by Qwest Repair Service and I called Qwest and suggested they had better unblock their name on this number or ***ody will even answer it unless Qwest does so. You can call them back on your order or anytype of repair or service order by using 1-800-573-1311 Free. I hope this will help others.
This 800-573-1311 caller name was blocked on my caller ID and Iam on Do Not Call List When will FTC and the Obama Administration Enforce the Law Here?
This 'Toll Free' 800 # is indeed Qwest confirmation of new service. Definitely should identify it as Qwest on Caller ID. Very odd behavior for a telecom business.

While this IS a legitimate Qwest phone number used for: event/service notifications, It is negligent on their part that they don't appropriately identify themselves with their call identifier. They i***vertantly drop themselves into the category of fraudulent/unwanted/solicitation calls because they do NOT appropriately notate the ORIGINATOR of the call.Corporate Qwest... are you listening... this is a hint to further improve your service. You provide service FAR better than anything I ever received from AT&T in 10 years in California and Nevada... just want to help you to continue to improve!
