Leave a CommentWe received the same message this evening telling us to call Stacey Kaminski at 800-428-9083 because we had won either a Lincoln Navigator or another great prize. First thing I did was check online, as this "sweepstakes" is one that none of my family has entered. Glad I checked - needless to say, I won't be calling Stacey back.....Caller ID: 716-805-8338
Just got a message to call Stacy Kaminski back because I've won a contest (one I've never entered). The number was from a Florida area code on my caller ID but the 800 number I was given to call back was different: 800-428-9083. I'll register a complaint with esupport...
I got a call today at home from these guys. Wanted me to call them back at their 800 number. I ***g up and got on the computer and registered a complaint on-line with the FCC. Here's the site if anyone is interested -https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

I have received two calls over the last 3 weeks, both from Robert York stating I am a finalist in the C****e Your Life Sweepstakes, and have either one a Lincoln Na***ator or one of 3 other top notch prizes. He says the state I live in, and that I must call back within 48 hours or I'll forfit my prize. The number I'm supposed to call is 800-577-7137, and the number that shows on my caller ID is 708-441-8072. It's a scam.
7/16/09 I just receieved a call from a guy named Jared from "C****e your Life sweepstakes" saying I had been chosen as one of the final winners for 1 of 4 prizes: the 09 Navigator, $2500, a vacation, or flat screen. He verified my first AND last name and full address, but had my age range wrong. He then said that I must be between the ages of 28-49 to qualify and that I could get someone I trusted (or one of my parents) to redeem the prize I win. He left me his number 877-577-7137 ext. 8073. I then googled the info because it sounded strange, and now im here!! ughh... scams.
Did not answer. Message left from
Call from an actual person named "Mark" received by my roommate. Call back was (800) 577-7137 x8069. Stated that I had filled out a form for a drawing for "C****e of Life" and that prizes included a Lincoln Navigator and other top notch prizes. I never filled out anything. A similar voicemail message was left a few days ago with a supposed time limit which should have expired by the time of the second call. Sick of these scams. Take me off your list!!!
Same thing however my caller ID gave me 708-441-8072. On the voicemail he identified himself as Robert York at 800-577-7137 at ext 8073 and after 6pm at 866-408-0604 at ext 8072. Said that I entered the C****e of Life Sweepstakes sometime within the last 18 months and the computer randomly drew my name last month. Same thing, 2009 Lincoln Navigator or three other amazing prizes. Wouldn't a 2010 Navigator be a prize this time of year? Knew it was a crock but searched the number to be certain and here I have found my answer. The funniest thing of all is the idiot forgot to **** up the phone until about 2 minutes after his message was complete. You could hear all of the others at the phone bank leaving similar messages to other people!
Wow, what a bunch of idiots. So I receive a call from a 312 (Chicago Illinois) area code. Recorded message tells me to call 800-577-7137 x 8073 for Dario Davis. Saying that I won all the same above prizes as everyone else. Call back in 48 hours or forfeit the prize. I know that it's a scam, but decided to play along. I called the company back and the people were completely lost. I finally got someone on the phone, who admitted right off the bat that I would have to sit through a presentation of a ***nd new travel agency before being "awarded" my prize.
I received a call just now pertaining to the same things that are mentioned above. I did not enter any contest. How do you stop this???
I also was left a message I won a Navigator, and to call 800-577-7137 within 48 hrs. or my prize would go to the runner up. The 800 number is no longer in service, so I checked the incoming number on my answering ma****e. 1-262-997-0559. Of course it was a recoding stating I reached the prize awards center.Leave a message and we will call you back. I enter sweeps all the time and have won some great prizes, the big tip off here is all legit sweeps are handled by marketing firms for the sponsors, and they identify themslves as such if a message is left on your answering ma****e. They know your name and address, and in some cases your birthdate because thats what you submitted when entering the sweeps. This has got to be a time share scam or
I received a call 4/30/09 around 11:45 a.m. and let it go to voicemail. When I listened to the message it was very similar to the post above, except I didn't get an extension or a name. Just a message about the Navigator and to call 800-577-7137 within 48 hours. Sounds like a scam. Not going to bother calling them back.
I received a call on the evening of 3/11/09 from #(410) 878-7684. Someone who identified herself as Sharon left a message about my being a finalist in winning a 2009 Lincoln Navigator and to call Stacy Kaminski at (800) 577-7137, ext. 8068 as soon as possible as there was a time stipulation. I called just out of curiosity as I don't recall entering any contest. Upon calling, I spoke someone who identified herself as Heather ***dley. She s****ed asking me some personal questions which immediately sent up a red flag and I ***g up on her. The person who initially answered the phone identified the number I called as Awards Center. I'm not sure if this is legit or not but wasn't taking any chances with all the credit fraud and stuff like that going around. I also find it hard to believe that I would be a finalist in a contest that I never entered.
OK, so I just received a call back to verify that I was a winner. Of course she could not tell me my address on the form, said she could not read my last name nor my zip code on the "OFFICIAL FORM". She also got the martial status wrong. Then said, "NOW we are going to put your name in the FINAL drawing. To which I stated, "If I did not win yet that I would not like to parti****te any further", to which she said Thank You and ***g up. Please beware...they do not even know your last name, or address or zip code.
Received voice mail when I got home from Robert York regarding a Hybrid Cadillac I had won (or one of 4 other prizes) and wanted me to call him back on 800-577-7137 extension 8064. Caller ID logged the call as coming in from 708-441-8064. Not EVEN going to waste my time. Although, I may call back the 800# about 500 times to run up thier bill :-)
