Leave a CommentA friend received a voucher in the mail that appeared to be a boarding pass for a free cruise via Holiday Cruise line. It stated that all meals, activities, and entertainment was included. However the voucher also states that the offer does not include port charges or government taxes. It has this 800 number that you must call to "activate" which I'm going to****ume is where they would attempt getting me to provide my credit card info to pay for those un-included charges. I'm a realist and know that nothing is FREE but in order to prove to my friend that it was just a scam, I googled "Holiday Cruise boarding pass voucher". Low and behold, I found endless entries from both, people that did research first to find out it was a scam AND those poor saps that actually bought into it. Anyway, sorry to be so ***sh, but you're a ***** if you believe any emails or paper mail forms of **** like this. You WILL be taken! :)
Same here. Didnt call. Had too many ***ue information.
It's a scam; none of the sponsors on the voucher know anything about it. You just got your money taken and there is nothing you can do about it unless you call the BBB (Better Business Bureau) or your state's Attorney General's Office and file a complaint. You can probably file a false adverti*****t law suit a***nst them but you will probably spend more on your attorney's fees than what you put out. Nothing is free in life!
I just got the same thing in the mail yes****ay. I called and they said I have this amazing cruise for a week. All I have to pay is a port fee of 125.00. I paid them. I hope this isnt a scam, I guess I'll just see what happens.
got the same voucher as David but I didn't call them.
i got the same thing and decided to call... why not right?spoke with someone and then his "boss" gets on the phone and says that someone's already called from MY cell number. what a load.
Got the same"Caribbean Cruise Line" in the mail as "david" did. Don't know what it means. Can someone tell me?
I didn't get a phone call from this number, but was asked to call it to confirm a so called free cruise on Caribbean Cruise Line from whom I received a voucher including $1,300.00 travel voucher. This does not include transportation to and from the port and port charges and government taxes, and you have to agree to take a look at Vacation Village at Bonaventure and Parkway. Evidently, this is a scam. Beware.
Didn't receive a phone call, but a travel voucher for a free cruise for 2 and a travel voucher for $1,300.00. Have received vouchers like this before. Simply added to File 13.
