You call that number and they are always "Office Now Closed" I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND ALL OTHER CHARGES STOPPED NOW!!!Amanda [email protected] Code: 04***
I am having charges to my charge account for nothing that I charged.
This number is trying to bill my credit card each month with 29.95. Still trying to stop it.
Illegal charge...
This outfit places illegal charges on credit cards they get when you purchase from (at least they appear to be..) legitimate web sites. On the charge account statement is this number, but it is bogus.
Hi, I am with WellnessWatchersMD. We are not trying to scam you. If you feel that you have been charged incorrectly or would like to cancel your subscription with us, please contact us via email at [email protected] or by telephone at 1-800-591-6383 and we will resolve your issue. Thank you!
$150 taken from my credit card account over a five month period without my knowledge or consent. Aparently I 'signed up' for a web based service. Unfortunately this appears to be legal!
I did not speak with anyone. One dollar and eighty three cents was taken out of my banking account without my permission on 02/02/2009 The info on my statement says Welwat chad
Billed $1.83 in January and $29.95 on 2-1-09 to my bank account. Have not done business with this company! Statement says Welwatchmd in Jan. and Wellness Watchers MD in Feb.
Found charges on my creditcard statement for Jan 2009 for 29.95 from wellnesswatchersMD. Contacted my c/c company and requested more info. My statement describes the type of business as a restaurant in New Jersey. I have never beeen to NJ. C/C company replied giving me info that they have two companies with merchant accounts both using this phone #. /1-800-591-6383 - Googled this number and found numerous complaints (on this site) from others who had been fradulently charged & and billed. I checked further and found that they had charged my card in November as well. As far as I know I have had no contact with anyone from this company. I have not ordered either goods or services.
after reading all comments here realize same thing has happened to me. ordered a report from barton publishing 23rd sept. following day got charged $1.00 then on 9th october charged £18.27 both with welwatchmd 8005916383-princeton nj reference. Will cancel card whilst investigating can't risk more losses
Just as everyone else,I was ripped off by these *******s. I bought a publication from Barton Publishing and 4 days after was the 1st $1:00 taken then $29:95 after 15 days. I have reported this group my credit card provider.
I could never get anyone one on the phone to cancel from the web site they keep charging my credit card 29.95 I did not order this could someone give me an address on this company. Thank you [email protected]
I order so****ing from Barton Publishing for £9.90, and after 3 week i got charged $29.90 from Welwatch, i dont remember ordering anything or signing for subscription. i live in UK, so its not easy contacting them in the USA, this is just a headache i dont need, dont know how to get my money back.
Never heard of Welwatch, never ordered anything & definitely wouldn't do a direct debt. Noticed a £16.54 taken out on 28/10 , checked & the first was taken on 26/9 for £19.30.Phoned fraud squad here in England & cancelled my cards. The only other "health" website I have used in Sept. was Barton Publishing. They seem fine, and have only taken money for the things I bought - I am not maligning them at all, but it does seem a coincidence - perhaps they have a nasty mole in their midst. Maybe someone in the USA could follow this up
STAY AWAY FROM HEALTHBUY!Yes****ay, I initiated a fraud claim which includes a Police report a***nst this transaction. As promised, here is the weaselly response from HealthBuy:Hello, Wellness Watchers is a bonus program that you are offered when placing an order with Healthbuy.com. You are contacted via email and given a courtesy phone call from a representative of WELLNESS WATCHERS, to verify enrollment or to give you the chance to cancel within a number of days. Any questions or concerns regarding any charges made by Wellness Watchers are to be resolved with Wellness Watchers. Healthbuy.com has not charged your account additionally and therefore cannot rectify any transactions made by any other companies. Please contact Wellness Watchers to resolve this matter. Please refer to your credit card/bank statement transaction, there should be a merchant name and contact number of the party who charged you. Please forward all compliants to: [email protected], phone #609-651-4936Wellness Watchers MD366 Nassau Street Princeton, N.J. 08540 1-800-591-6383 [email protected],Web Support Centerhttp://www.healthbuy.comhttp://support.healthbuy.comI tried the number and got a recorded message. I don't expect any satisfaction considering the underwhelming response above from HealthBuy.Here is my reply to HealthBuy:Hello HealthBuyThank you for the swift response regarding ticket number 190767.For the record, I have searched all my mail boxes including deleted items and junk mail and I have received no emails from WellnessWatchers, WELWATCH, or WellnessMD. Nor have I received any phone calls from them. If I had, I would have cancelled enrollment immediately. I live in Australia, so the "toll-free number" provided is not toll-free. I find it offensive that it I have to chase someone else at my expense to cancel an enrollment I have no knowledge of making, and was therefore derived by unscrupulous ****ods. From the many complaints online regarding this company, it remains apparent that this company using the bonus program has been acting unscrupulously for some time and continues to do so. Your email infers that your company is aware of the activities and ****ods of this company. Therefore by remaining****ociated with it your company condones these unscrupulous ****ods and activities. It is a shame that such a well-regarded company as HealthBuy chooses to remain****ociated with such a company and such an****ociation can only reflect negatively upon your company. "If you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas".Considering the unsatisfactory response to the information I have provided, I reiterate that I will NOT be purchasing anything from your company a***n and WILL be advising others of the same, including publishing your response below.RegardsGreg
I purchased a supplement from a US company and was charged the correct amount for the purchase on 11 Oct 2008. On 28 Oct 2008 I received a charge of US$59.00 (AU$100) on my account from "WELWATCHMD8005916383-V 800-5916383". During the ordering process, I remember seeing a pop-up window with a picture of a doctor and ***led so****ing "MD", but can't remember exactly if it was "Wellness MD", although it sounds about right. I Googled the name WELWATCHMD and I found this website. I contacted my bank and reported the US$59.00 transaction as fraudulent. I contacted the toll-free number and received a recorded message claiming to be "WellnessMD". It was outside of their business hours (9am - 9pm Eastern US time) and the recorded message referred me to the website "www.wellnesswatchers.com/customerservice" which does not exist, however the website www.wellnesswatchers.com does exist and appears to be a legitimate unrelated company in Florida, not New Jersey. I emailed this company and informed them of the reference to their website, hoping they can do so****ing from their end.I contacted the legal department and customer service department of the company I purchased the original supplement from - HealthBuy.com - by email to inform them of progress as above, as I am sure they do not wish to be****ociated with at best am**** sales or credit card gathering ****ods, or at worst crooks, and am awaiting a reply. Definitely a case of CAVEAT EMPTOR - "let the buyer beware!" Will keep you all posted. I also posted the above on the following website: http://iripoff.com/2666/WELWATCHMD.html
I am also one victim of this phone ID. Two fraudulant tran****ions appreared in my credit card during one month with this phone number identifier for US$1.00 and US$29.90.This phone number has some connection with Barton Publishing.Com and they are doing this fraud business as a joint venture. I did a transaction with Barton Publishing and the charged me extra US$19.90 with their name and then US$1.00 and US$29.90 appreaded in my credit card statement under name of WellnessMD800-591-6383 and WellwatchMD800-591-6383.
If you call a toll free number from a pay phone it cost them about $0.30 for each call. If everybody would call the toll free number from a pay phone several times a day their cost of business would increase - perhaps enough that they would go out of business When calling the toll free number you just have to make sure the call connects. You don't have to have a conversation. Once the call connects, even if it’s just for a second, they get charged the $0.30
I called this number and they said I ordered this onSeptember 25th and I don't remember of ordering anything from them and they took 29.90 out of my checking account. I know I have never given any one my checking account by that name.
How do I stop this Wellnessmd from taking my money?? They've hit me up 4 times now!! Never even recieved a call!! It's just been taken out of my account!!
I am glad to see people are sharing information about credit card fraud.Like others I have purchaed an e-book (gout cure) from Barton publishing and the day after my internet shoppping I was charged $1 by WELLNESSMD Nj. I ignored the $1 charge and paid my credit card bill. Now in my October credit card statement I see 2 more charges from WELWATCHMD NJ. I have no clue who these people are and will file a complaint.
I get a charge on my credit card with $1.00 USD on 22.09.2008 and then with $29.95 USD on 07.10.2008, with reference WELWATCHMD8005916383 - V PRINCETON NJ on both cases, I do not know what for these charges
$1 chg. then $59. chg. I'm guessing Urban Nutrition is doing this, since I had just ord. so****ing from Urban Nutrition. Have notified my credit card.
Just as everyone else,I was ripped off by these *******s. I bought a publication from Barton Publishing and the day after was the 1st $1:00 taken then $29:90 after. I have reported this group the the fraud centre. They seem to be taking funds from everything, as I live in the UK...
I was charged first $1.00 then $59.00 WelwatchMD I have had my card stopped and the transaction disputed.
WelWatchMd took 1.00 then 59.00 when I ordered the Diet Don Mannarinos Think & Lose its not fair and I need my money back.
I order the diet Don Mannarino's Think & Lose on line A screen popped up after my order I did agree to order so****ing for 9.99 From WelWatchMD when I looked at my check card they had took out $1.00. The next month they took out $59.00. That I did not Authorize. That is a rip off.
Like Louis, I received my bank statement and under my check card uses it had $1.00 payed to "WellnessMD" and then a later $59.00 payed to "WelWatchMD". I know they're connected because they both had the same phone number listed 800-591-6383. What the***** happened? I am 100% positive that I did NOT subscribe to anything that had to do with "Wellness", "WelWatch", nor anything having to do with "MD" or doctors. Who do they think they are stealing money from people who didn't have anything to do with them? Also, WHERE IS MY MONEY ?! It's not like I'm rich or anything. I just graduated from college and I am still looking for a full-time job while making as much money as I can off my part-time job. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY YOU *?^#@¿†S!!!!!!!
I got my Credit Card and there was a carge on it for 19.95 I do not know what it is for
I received my credit card bill with charges of $1.00 &$59.00 from Wellness with this phone number as reference.Wellness ***ned access to my credit card from a diet supplement order placed with Urban Nutrition, their partners in this scam. This is a working number in Princeton, NJ that is answered with the name of "WellnessMD".
I purchased Longevity from Urban Nutrition. A week later $1.00 charged by WellnessWatchersMD on my debit card, then $49.95 charged 8/27/08. Called 800 number. He wanted to mail request for refund. I told him I wanted charge reversed. He put me on hold and never came back. Called Urban Nutrition. 1st call to them indicated WellnessWatchers was an affiliate. Gave me direct line. That number belonged to someone named Janiene. 2nd call to them and they denied affiliation and put me on 'permanent' hold. I called my bank and cancelled debit card, indicating charge was unauthorized. Bank will return funds to my account. Urban Nutrition removed from my list of supplement providers.
Found charges on my bank account from wellness watchers
