Charged my debit card $0.19 in Oct, went unnoticed. Then a charge exactly one week later for $1 from itunes. Exactly one week later received charge of $279.95 from BILL.MS.NET WA, canceled the card but I'm out the money. CANCEL THE CARD IMMEDIATELY!

Same as other complaints. We did not receive a call but had a $0.13 charge to our Capital One card. Filed a formal dispute and fraud investigation with Cap One. Cancelled our card. Please file formal fraud investigation with your credit card company. Note about Capital One: they twice said they would reverse the $0.13 charge but did not, so make sure to do***ent your call and file a formal FRAUD complaint.

This company name and number appeared on my credit card on 9/30/08 for $.09. I too called the number on the bill and it was not yet in service. I put in a dispute with the credit card company. I never give my credit card info over the phone so I do not know how they got this account. I was told that this is an Electronics Store and that they s**** out with small amounts and then go in for the big amount if no one notices the small amount. Best thing to do is c****e your account number and watch closely for any additional fraud charges.

A charge of .17 was made to my credit card in October without my knowledge. Having determined this is a fraudulent charge I have had the charge reversed.

My debit card was charged .16 from a company called EST COMPANY with the phone # 800-596-7814. I called the phone # and it's not an activated #. I had to cancel my debit card. I saw that many people have been charged minimal amounts on their debit or credit cards. Not enough info. to report to the bbb.

Was charged 15 cents to a card that is not used. This phone was given. Call # report # not is service. Bank has no records because of such a small charge.

I never received a phone call, but noticed a .16 charge on my Visa from 10/1 which I knew was incorrect. I called the 800 number listed with the charge and got an automated message that the number was not operational. Then I Googled the company and found this website so thanks to everyone for posting your complaints! I have cancelled my card and filed a fradulent claim. Hopefully, these guys will get caught before they do any serious damage.

Same here! We got a $0.08 charge on our Visa on 10/01/2008. Thanks to this site and others it was easy to determine that it was fraudulent. Card is cancelled. Thanks to all those who posted. A pox on the criminals who are desperate enough to steal from others rather than earning an honest living!

Same story here.I received a charge for .12. I missed it but my secretary caught it. Seems like a great scam. The 12 cents is just bait. When you dispute the charge, the bank notifies EST (w***ver they are) and they then immediately know that they have a "live" card. They then charge ***dred and even thousands a***nst it. Cancel the card at once - do not just put a hold on it.

I received my statement showing a charge from EST Company, in which I did not purchase anything. Since we have to provide receipts for each purchase on our corporate card, I looked up the site by their phone number & found this site. Fraudulent Account. I just hope they don't try to send other charges thru. If so, I will cancel my card!

I noticed a .14 charge from EST Company 800-596-7814 FL on my bank statement. Called my bank, disputed the charge, canceled my card and am having a new card with a new number issued. This is a tedious and annoying scam!

I didn't get a phone call, however I noticed a charge for $ .07 on my latest credit card statement. It was identified as coming from EST Company 800-596-7814 FL. After not being to get any information from this phone number, I decided to go on-line to see if I could find out just who the company was. And surprise, surprise, there are a lot of people getting the same charges. I would never use my credit card for such a small amount. I am heading to the bank immediately before so****ing else shows up. What is so scary, is that they have managed to get small amounts from most of us, but imagine all of the people who do not check their statements carefully or just ignore them. We need help!

I was not called by there was a 9 cent charge on my Credit card statement. When I questioned the Credit card company they said was an electronic company and that was all the information they could give. I absolutely had no contact with this company, never heard of them until the charge appeared on my statement.I will cancel the card and dispute the charge.

Received an unauthorized charge of $.09 on my Visa on 10/2/08 from a company listed as EST Company. I immediatly called the listed 800 number & received the recording that the number had not been activated & that if I had any questions that I could contact their customer courtesy. Next, I looked up the number & company on the internet to discover that it is a fraud. I have no idea how they got my number. I had to cancel by Visa & get a new number. These people need prosecuted!

EST Company 'pinged' my checking account for $.15 on 10/3. I didn't catch it until the following week when all***** broke loose. There have been five - FIVE - Dell Gift Cards charged to my account, to the tune of $100 each. Needless to say my debit card has been canceled. ***ody 'stole' my card number -- these ****s are running a bunch of hijacked computers and are sending random numbers to different banks. When they get their $.15 or whatever, they know it's a "live" account number. Voila -- let the looting begin. ::fuming::

ESt charged .10 cents to our private credit card, which also happens to have a very large credit/cash limit. This happened after two occurences: a credit check, and an online payment. Called our card company and complained, they claimed it was an electronic supply store in Boca Raton in FL and it was in in person purchase, not internet purchase. They wanted to charge us $10 to cancel the card. My husband got on the phone and said :What do you want? Us to refuse the cancellation for $10, or wait for this fraud company to charge $2000 that you will get stuck with? Well, they cancelled the card and opened a new account for free. ESP needs tp be stopped.

I got a charge for $0.16 on my statement. Cancelled the card and got a new one. I also disputed the charge. This is obviously a scam of some type. I hope they're caught and rot in jail.

Received CC statement and was charged .15 to EST company for some electronic purchase. Never charged that, so called the 800-596-7814 and got the same recording as the others on this website. SCAM!! This .15 charge isn't much, but it's an open door for larger charges. Getting a new CC number. ASAP

This is an added comment to the one I posted a minute ago. You should also file a complaint with your local police department and they will get in contact with Florida and do some calling and follow ups that we cannot do as citizens but the police can. How many people have been charged and look at the money they got. The pther number that this company used was charging $9.57 on credit cards and debit cards. We have to stop them.

I never received a call, but saw a fraudulent charge of $.17 from EST Company on my bank statement on 10.02.08. I called the 800 number and heard only a recording saying that the number had not yet been activated. I immediately contacted my bank, who reversed the charge, cancelled my debit card and issued a new one. 17 cents isn't much, but it could possibly just be a test to see if the card works, which would then allow them to take as much money as they wanted later on. I won't put up with it.

I never received a call, but this company charged me .08 cents...I guess in an attempt to see if the card was valid. I called my CC company and they reversed charges and cancelled my card. This company charged my Chase Visa credit card on 10/01/08 for 11 cents. Listed as: "EST COMPANY 800-596-7814 FL". I have never heard of this company and it was not an authorized charge. Chase filed a fraud claim, closed my account and is issuing a new card. Definitely a scam, don't let it slide! Call your bank!

Same story as all of the comments below. A charge of $0.15 came through on my debit card from EST, and I have not received a call, nor purchased anything related to this company. Obviously this "company" is scamming thousands of people out of money, please be aware of this and check your bank statements for this activity.

This company received a fraudulent charge of $.11 on my bank account on October 2, 2008. I did not receive a call to my knowledge, but my bank has reported this charge as well as another as being fradulent. Take a look at your bank statement - you may also be a victim. If they can get $.11 and you have a debit card (which is how I think this happened), you may lose your whole account if your bank does not have a successful fraud detection program. Does anyone know if the State of Florida is going after this company?

I was charged $0.10 on my credit card by the EST Company based in FL. I called my CC company and they charged the $0.10 back to my account. I was still su****ious so I called the 1800 number and the recording said the phone number was not activated. I googled the company and found this website. I immediately called my CC company back and canceled my CC.

charge of $9.35 on my credit card. We don't accept/answer junk phonecalls, so no idea if they also called my house. Credit union issuing the card said the only recourse is cancelling the card and having htem issue a new one. We religiously check our statements every month. A .08 or .10 charge would have been a definite red flag, but this 9.35 seemed like a legitimate amount we might have charged and stumped us until we searched online for EST Company and this 800#!

There was an unknown charge for .14 for EST Company in FL on my credit card. The recording said that the number is not activated. I called my bank to cancel the card. Looks like this is a large scale scam. I did not make any online purchases. The fraud rep said that hackers can hack into merchant or online databases for account numbers.

I was questioned this morning about a charge of $9.45 on my city issued credit card. The charge was from from a company called EST. Like everyone else on this site I called the 800 number and got a recording. I will turn over all of this to our city attorney. These people need to be stopped. If this happens to you cancel that credit card immediately. It is unknown how this company got my CC info. So everyone beware and check your statements every month.

Didn't get a call, but $.08 was charged to a BOA credit card. Called the bank and they googled the phone number and found all these complaints. Sent me to the fraud dept. and they reversed the charges and cancelled the card. I too am hoping these people get caught. Scary how they get your numbers.

As a follow up to my previous post, I contacted my bank and the representative helping me advised me that they work very closely with law enforcement to report credit card fraud. In addition, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and I suggest others do the same as well. You only have to provide as much personal information as you feel comfortable with through the FTC, so I recommend others do the same and take a pro-active role in fighting consumer fraud.

A fraudulent charge appeared on my debit card for $0.10 with a description of "PURCHASE MADE ON 10/02/08 AT EST COMPANY." I will be contacting my bank to cancel my card now. I have no idea how they got ahold of my debit card number.

EST Company out of Boca Raton, Florida is fishing for valid debit card numbers by charging "*****r charges" in very small amounts that they hope we don't notice. Once they see that the charge successfully went through, they would probably charge the debit card a***n, but with a much larger amount. This is how it was just explained to me by Bank of America as I phoned to file a fraudlent claim a***nst these losers!!! Like everyone else says, the only other thing to do is cancel the card that they used and have the bank issue you a new card. I hope they get caught VERY soon!!!

I was robbed on my debit card of $.08 by this company and was given this number to call for questions. BEWARE!! They could have come back for everything in my account. The bank would do nothing to help except cancel my card.

10/7/08 charge on my debit card for $0.17 from EST COMPANY 800-596-7814 FL. Never heard of these people and never received any phone calls from them. I tried to call their phone # on the transacation and says phone # is not active yet. Called my bank, they only thing they could do is cancel this debit card and issue a new one....so that's what I just did. I advise anyone else to do that same since there is no telling how many more charges you may recive. It's a small amount, but can add up quickly!

We were looking at our bank account on 10/7/08 and noticed a $0.15 charge that we did not recognize. We never recieved a phone call from the 800-596-7814 number, and we never give out our credit card or bank card numbers to telemarketers and we have not used this card to purchase anything onlin in months, so it makes me wonder how they got our bank account number. We had our account blocked, and were issued new cards the next morning. Who knows what might have happened if we had not noticed the $0.15 charge.

Noticed a charge on 9/30 for 0.15; found this site, called the card issuer, they said they would issue a new number, as it appears the card has been compromised. THEY ALSO SAID THE SMALL CHARGES ARE USUALLY DONE TO VERIFY THE CARD IS ACTIVE/VALID, WITHOUT RAISING ALARM, SO LARGER DEBITS CAN BE MADE LATER!! So, if you haven't had your card issuer send new cards with different numbers, DO SO!! Thank you all for these reports!

I got a charge on my credit card for $.08. Disputed the charge and will be cancelling the card number. The message on the 800 596 7814 was that the number was not yet activated. 0187 I did not get a phone call.

The description said EST COMPANY 800-596-7814 FL. this was unauthorized! i had the bank reverse the charge and i cancelled my card. this is a scam. they are doing it to millions of people and most won't dispute an 8 cent charge. think of all the money they are getting away with!

Boca Java has the same zip code as these EST people. Seems strange that I have a charge from a random place in Florida that has the same zip code as Boca Java. That's the last time I order from them.
