WOW- I would have to say the last comment is a real joke. Before you make a comment about people NOT being able to pay for the merchandise due to extenuation cir***stances you should really get clue. Do you think people go out buy a car and decided that they don't want pay for it? I'll give you an example that I know of : Person working in the banking industry making top dollar ( more than the average person) for some of he top banking firms. He made the bank millions in mortgage business. then guess what the same bank that pushed and pushed to generate revenue decided that the product they were pushing we can longer profitable. Decided to liquidated the division, even though millions of dollars in production was still coming in on a monthly basis some up one at the top felt that our division was not as profitable as the prior years. So they shut us down.. with that being said this person has been displaced with no work in the industry. I know they cut back on everything and tried to save where they could but still the money that was coming was not enough to cover bills. so I would say get your fact before your judge a person based on some one else's actions

I think it is sad how people cry about getting calls when they fail to make good on their "word" and default on a loan. Those cars remain the property of the company that financed them. If you are being contacted by a legitimate "agent" for the company that OWNS the vehicle that you have NOT paid for, then I ask you... "Who is in the wrong here? The one who is attempting to recover property from someone who did NOT pay for it, or the person who is holding on to 'stolen' property?" I mean come on folks. If you don't pay for it... it is NOT yours. And they wonder why the economy is going bust? Because people don't pay their bills. If you can't pay for it... return it. But don't come crying here because you don't keep your word. Pathetic.

Yeah, I tend to be defensive when I get calls from total strangers who don't identify themselves threatening to repo a car I've never seen from a person I've never heard of.

This is a service provider for toyota and they are legit.My guess would be tha the previous comments are from those who are unknowledgable or have a reason to be defensive. Had you provided your "contact" at TMCC or TFS I'm am sure you would have received a call from that person immediately.

Called looking for personal information on a customer.  Would not give company name, but then a supervisor got on the phone and said 'oh we're Toyota'  told them we have a specific contact at Toyota, and you are not it!!  Would love to know who they are, reported to Toyota.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS # AND FROM "DAWN WITH TOYOTA" WHO SOUNDED LIKE SHE WAS CHEWING ON SOME ROCKS WHEN SHE SPOKE, SHE SAID MY PAID OFF CAR WAS UP FOR REPO AND THAT SHE WAS GONNA COME AND GET IT...DON'T KNOW WHO THIS COMPANY IS SHE WORKS FOR BUT WATCH OUT....THEY MAY BE TRYING TO SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR CAR, DAWN DOESN'T SOUND LIKE SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT, IF YOU WANT MY CAR DAWN COME AND GET IT, IT'S IN THE DRIVE WAY " I DARE YOU!"

It's Toyota calling, probably because you didn't pay your car.
