disconnects when i answer, PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!!!

It may be legitimate as I have some advertising with Verizon, but I am getting many scam advertisers calling me daily. I am su****ious as no message was left from this number and when I return the call there is no way to connect. It is blocked???

They Do not call list has state exemptions before you scream im on the list know that they probably called you because the call is exempt.

This phone number calls me every day, sometimes a few times a day, they let it ring for 2 seconds and **** up...i answered once and they ***g up...i can't call it back and i am getting really frustrated

They repetively call my phone and if I do answer they say they are verizon wireless and keep asking for information such as social security number.

I keep getting a phone call from this number every night. It rings only for a couple of seconds, so I was never able to answer the call. It's been going on for more than a week, and it is very annoying to me.

EVERY day for the past few months I have recieved a missed call from 800-600-5092 on my cell phone. Why do they have to call every day? Clearly if I haven't picked up the call yet, I am not going to, nor am I that interested.

This number calls my home at least 2X EVERYDAY. When I pick up, there's no one there. When I call back, there is no answer.

The number keeps calling and they never leave a message and when I call back, it just rings and rings and rings... I'm tired of it.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone and evertime I answered, no one was there. I answered today and got a woman informing me that she was calling on behalf of Verizon and wanted me to "upgrade" my plan.  The plan she was giving me was the same exact plan I already have.  I did not tell her this, but informed her that this number has been repeatedly calling my cell phone, I have tried calling it back and also googled it and it appeared to me that this 1-800 number was not affilated with Verizon.  I also informed her that if I wanted to upgrade my plan with Verizon, I will contact Verizon myself and told her to take my number of her list.  I called Verizon, and the customer service person told me that the 1-800 number was NOT affilated with Verizon and she put a block on my phone from this number.  I asked the customer service representaive if they were going to inform other customers and she said that she will just put it in their records.  So do not give out any personal information!!!

Talk directly with Verizon Wireless customer service. They investigated the number. I was told it was Verizon's Marketing Department/Continuity Dept. they call to tell you that your contract is due to expire and tell you about discount plans available. Suppose to be OK no scam. check for yourself.call Verizon and ask for their fraud dept.

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past month or so. I never answer. Like some of you, I'm on the no call list. If it's Verizon Wireless, why would they be calling my land-line? According to the information some of you have, it sure does sound like a phishing scam.

Said they were Verizon Wireless, but they asked for someone I've never heard of. They were also calling at 9 pm Friday night. I really doubt they were Verizon.

This errant number calls my cell. It is very annoying, especially when I am on the do not call list. If it is a Verizon contractor, I prefer to make my own choices based upon the information I find on the Verizon web site. If it persists, I may very well NOT renew my contract when it is due.

This # has called many times. After the beep of the answering ma****e, all we hear is a steady tone. If this is Verizon, it should not be calling us, as we already have Verizon.

This is the third time that 800-600-5092 has rand and ***gup 2 seconds later.

I answered and they claimed they were verizon wireless (whom I have)..she wanted to renew my contract which is not up for renewal any time soon. she seemed shaky--- like she wasn't sure of herself. I told her i didn't think this was verizon and she laughed. she kept trying to feed me info on how to renew -- which verizon usually has me do via internet. i had to ask 3 times for a return #. she gave it to me and kept trying to see. i ***g up. i called the # --- message s****ed to say "thank you for your interest in verizon wireless" but then someone picked up and said the same. it sounded like the same woman i spoke to moments before --- which is usually unheard of w/ telemarketers. so****ing is weird here.

Same as everyone else. Calls, no message, ***ody there when answered. I've filed a complaint with the FCC regarding this number. I recieved confirmation in the mail of my complaint file number last week and have recieved 2 calls since then. I intend to follwo up with all records of all calls thanks to my cellphone keeping records for me.

Some ***** who needs a hot palm to the mouth. I dont care if a 16yr old female is responsible she can get kicked in the back, and it wouldnt cause any qualms.

This number has been showing up once every few days. Last night I picked up---I heard a few clicks then dial tone. I called the number back but it just kept ringing. I'd really like it to stop!

Called my cell phone, identified self as a contractor for Verizon. Asked me to confirm account information to renew my plan (my plan is only 6 months old!). I said I did not need to renew my plan, and gave him no information. I think this may be some sort of scam...do not give out your info!

This number has been calling both mine and my husband's cell phones for the last few days. We don't pick up, or it is very late when they call so we have our phones on silent mode. They do not leave any messages. Please find a way to stop this person/company from calling and annoying so many people!
