Leave a CommentThey are huge scam dogs! Their customer support ****s because you can catch them in ****** cover ups/slip ups. They are nothing but big bullies who hide behind their phone calls. They try to power up with threats in hopes that you would cave and pay the bill. Nothing but MAJOR CROOKS so don't let them take you for a ride by pushing a bill for some ****** light bulbs that you can simply buy anywhere for a lot less. Heck, you can find the light bulbs at .99 Cent Stores for so much cheaper. ***** these scam dogs!
Well I got the package of bulbs after they were to be a given to me along with the home depot card. I then got a n invoice 2 weeks later for $498. I called them back and they offered to only sell them to me for 50% instead. HA I am shipping them back on monday. Any one know the return address? other wise I will simply ship it COD to the PO box listed on the invoice! Sad part is that I know the owner of Warner electric in Colorado and I hope these scammers are not giving him a bad rep!
Oh Joy, Gene Davis called me from Werner a***n....."HIIIIII buddy!!! whats up?" like we are best friends....I just ***g up, it does no good to get upset or tell them to take you off their call list, they will just keep calling... They block their caller id so you cannot see who is calling, I am just not going to accept any more "Private Caller" calls. Insulting, to say the least, you work hard establish your self in a trade or job and then these crooks treat you like you are an idiot.
theres nothing you can do!!!
Received a package of light bulbs (over half of them were broken). Couple days later i received an invoice for $498.00...I didn't recognize the company and the explanation on the invoice. I researched them on-line, and discovered it was a scam! I contacted the person who called me, and when I told him i wasn't going to pay! he became angry and ***g up on me..I warned my company and told them that if they receive another invoice from this company to throw it away!
Same ole' same ole.Got a package of 15 swirl-type light bulbs and then a bill for $498.00. I get these scams all the time here at work. Being the maintenance man, I've noticed there are several companies that do this and usually they c****e their name. If it isn't light bulbs they're selling (or forcing on you) it is usually another company that uses the same marketing ploys to get some 'drain cleaner' or 'drain opener' chemicals shipped to you for an astronomical price. I stop the UPS man immediately, if possible, and have him write "REFUSED" on the package and ship it right back to them. One company (Commercial Maintenance Chemical Corp) even agreed they had received their product back, but there would be a (rather high) disposal fee, since the product was now outdated and had to be disposed of properly. What a bunch of idiots. The best thing you can do when you get one of these calls is sit and listen to them and act really interested and ask a bunch of ****** questions.... take up as much of their time as you can and then simply refuse the product before he rushes you off the line. They get paid by their sales and if you tie them up, you will usually get them really ****ed off because you just wasted 30-45 minutes of their time for nothing, and they know they've lost commission.
Our phone system is outdated so I don't have caller ID. But based on what I'm reading this is exactly the thing I've been dealing with from people "claiming" to represent Werner Electric. I've asked the last three calls to be put on their Do Not Call list. The last time they said they could transfer me to a person who could do that for $35. Obviously these people are trying really hard to scam people.
I just had "Pat" call our business looking for our Maintenance Man and she left her phone number 1-800-610-7661 and asked to have him call her. I will know how to handle it if she calls back now. Thanks!
I was out of town and these guys called the health club I work at and got my****t. Tells him free gift, I'm your new rep. I'll send some samples, blah blah, same old lightbulb scam. I got a packing slip and three pages of lists of bulbs with no prices. I called right away to ask who ordered bulbs and they gave me his name I asked him and he said he didn,t order anything, just listened to their line and forgot about it. I called and told them we won't be paying for so****ing we didn't order, The woman said she'd have to have someone call me. In the mean time I tell our manager to not let anyone sign for anything from Werner unfortunately word didn't get out and someone did. At this point I'll probably send a return receipt letter to them giving them 30 days to come claim their box before it's disposed of. I fell for it once when I was a kid at a bowling alley. The free gift then was a silver? bowl, just what a twenty year old mechanic needs.
Same scam, only I called the Baltimore Police Departmetn, "Check and Fraud Unit", and they are working on closing these guys down. See the report on the company under RippOffReport.com . I also spoke to the Baltimore Better Business Burea who KNOWS about this company but says they can't or won't do anything about it, such as cooperate with Police to shut them down. They'll just give them a lower "BBB Rating"-- what a useless thing that is.This company also does business as "Easton Chemical Company" and a guy named "Ben ***" is affiliated wtih ALL these companies-- go tot he Maryland Secretay of State's Corporations page, you will find all the information there. These guys are crooks and need to be in jail instead of a call center.
They called me and got reallly mad when I called them on their scam. They cused at me and ***g up
Hey tony and werner international. If you read this,I just want you to know i am going to do all i can to shut your little operation down. You can count on it.
There is no such company as werner international. Watch out for these guys
They did the same to me. Its just a bunch of ****. Tony was the **** that has called me several times. I wish someone out there knew how we could report these ****s.
Well, Tony somehow got our name and cell phone number and gave us a call. He did exactly what everyone else is talking about like the catalog and gift card. Anyway Tony and I got in a coverstaion and I told him that his company was a scam and he cussed at me and ***g up. I called back and talked to the secretary and told her to take our number off the list and she ***g up. This is definitely a HUGE scam. They have no website. They are not accredited with bbb.org... SCAM!!!!
A guy called our maintenance man on his cell phone (have no idea how he got the number) and told him our order was ready to be shipped and needed to verify the address. Our maintenance man,****uming the boss had placed an order gave it to him (the boss had just gone out of town). Another guy called back a couple of hours later to confirm order. Our boss returned after we received the bulbs. He called called and spoke to Victoria and was told that customer service had all gone to lunch. A guy named Paul Shepard called back and left a message. He called back a***n and the boss explained to Paul that no one had ordered the bulbs. The conversation went south in a hurry and ended abruptly after talks of scams came up. Please do not agree to light bulbs, office supplies, especially ink cartridges. These are common scams. Do not even give out models of your equipment. If they want your business, they will send out a catalog for you to look at your convenience.
I GOT CALLED TODAY LOOKING FOR OUR MAINTENANCE MAN. FORTUNATELY FOR OUR COMPANY WE ARE SMALL AND I DO KNOW IF WE HAVE ANYONE PICKING UP PARTS FOR US. I WAS TOLD THAT THE CALLER (MIKE) WAS OUR ELECTRICIAN AND THAT HE WAS AT THE STORE PICKING UP OUR LIGHT FIXTURES BUT DIDNT KNOW FOR SURE WHAT NUMBER WE NEEDED. HE HAD LEFT HIS PAPERWORK AND PHONE IN HIS OTHER TRUCK. WHEN I TOLD HIM WE HAVE CERTAIN COMPANIES WE ORDER SUPPLIES FROM HE YELLED AT ME AND TOLD ME HE WAS OUR ELECTRICIAN AND WASNT SELLING PARTS HE WAS PICKING UP THINGS WE NEED. FINALLY AFTER REFUSING TO GIVE HIM WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR HE LEFT A NUMBER TO HIS COMPANY THAT WE COULD CALL BACK....OH BUT WAIT HE IS OUR ELECTRICIAN GUESS HE GOT CONFUSED ON WHAT STORY HE WAS TELLING. I CALLED THE NUMBER HE GAVE ME AND ASKED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CALL LIST SO I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK BUT HOPEFULLY.
Somehow out of the blue this supposed company "Werner Electric" found my cell phone number and my work number and calls both repeatedly, the caller uses a different name everytime, but has a similiar voice each time. Whatever you do don't give them any information especially if they pretend to know you. I fell for this initially because he did know what kind of lights i needed, now they just keep calling leaving ***ue messages with no real information. TOTAL SCAM, FIND A WAY TO BLOCK THIS NUMBER 1-800-610-7661
I don't know about you but I had a great experience with werner I recieved the lighting supplies within a couple of days along with a home depot gift card and a catalog i was then called a few weeks later from a quality control rep to see if i was satisfied with there product i was indeed and with the excellent service i recieved .Thanks WernerNicki From The Hilton

He then asks questions about the bulbs I use and tries to tell me "he'll place a small order to come with my catalog and free Home Depot gift card."I told him there is no order. He then said so****ing I didn't understand and ***g up.Claimed to be:Werner ElectricSales rep is Bill WattsWhen I called back, the lady on the phone identified it as a call center, and she didn't know where the "warehouse" is located
