Leave a CommentHad a call go directly to voicemail on my cell phone from Dakota****ociates. My cell # is listed in the yellow pages for my business, so I have my voicemail screen calls. The lady who called was GLORIA BAILEY and she sounded very perky, but she did not state her business, so I used the internet to research this 800 number and here I sit reading all of this stuff. Got to 800notes.com to get even more accounts of people who have delt with Dakota and****ociates. Needless to say, I won't bother calling her back now that what's written indicates a "phone book cover advertising" scam. How can people work for such businesses? It confounds me...

03/25/09 - a "Ber***ette Klein" called for my doctor, Dr. Gale ****ey. Ms. Klein wanted me to "tell Dr. ****ey to call me, please at this number when he gets done with his current patient." Anyone who knows Dr. ****ey knows that SHE is a SHE, and not a "him". So i typed in number the woman left with me and voici! here i am - and they have called MANY TIMES in the past 2 days. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
Look, people. This kind of advertising works just like a billboard ad. They more times people see the ad, the more name recognition you recieve. These covers are handed out for free and people do recieve them. The people who complain about the ads are the business owners who always ask" so where did you here about us?" So since they don't ever get the response "on a phone book cover", they****ume it doesnt work. But if you as a business owner try this very inexpensive form of advertising, combined with other types of ads, and you will find it is very rewarding. I've done it for years, and its not a scam!!! Gas prices are a scam, lol. God Bless America
