Leave a CommentFrom my experience the person owning the debt needs to use the law a***nst people like this. It's quite simple actually. The "Fair Debt Collection Act" allows for consumers to send a Cease Communication notice to the company. If they violate the cease communication they can be held accountable in court. I have had to get my brother to do this twice and they stopped calling but you have to be fairly aggressive about it.Hope that helps.

We get calls from this number several times a day. Usually just silence. Sometimes ask for someone who doesn't live at our number (which we've had for 2 years now).
They call me just a few minutes ago after 9pm to be exact at 9:36pm on a Sunday night. Been calling me and don't know who the***** they are. Anways if anyone knows so****ing about how to stop these guys from bugging us pls pass the message along in this forum would be much appreciated.
I've gotten at least a dozen phone calls from this number in two days make it stop!!!!! they're calling for sum brian Scuzberry and you can barely hear them
They call me I don't know why 4-5 times a day. They have problem with my brother , but they call me.
This is my second comment. Nationwide Credit (800-635-1308) continues to call us at least twice a day, and this has been going on for about a month. We have no business with them because we do not owe money to anyone, nor does anyone owe money to us. We have never done business with this company. We are on the national Do-Not-Call Registry, and I have logged in at least 10 complaints a***nst these people. A couple of times I have answered their calls, saying, "We are on the Do-Not-Call Registry," and then they just **** up. Their behavior is extremely annoying because sometimes they call twice within one hour. WHY DOESN'T THE DO-NOT-CALL REGISTRY WORK?
The calls come to our home at least twice per day, sometimes more. Today these unknown people called twice within the ****e of an hour, and also a third time. Since we have caller ID, I never answer. But these calls are extremely annoying
Collections calls for a Business, made to another Business, that my husband owns......threatening calls made to my step son, and my husband, who are NOT ON THE ACCOUNT, and never were. Caller says that they have a right to call them and that they are responsible for THE FAILED BUSINESS DEBT, they were not on the application and had no right to use the card nor any responsibility for the debt whatsoever.They will be reported to Govermental Agency.
calls my phone at work for another person. Rude. Wants to speak to a supervisor. I told them that they person they are calling for isn't at the number. They told me they would "come down there" and "make" me give them what they want.Some kind of collection agency I guess.I have advised our legal dept. at work. They have been told not to call us anymore because it is a personal financial call, and employees are not allowed to accept such calls. The person calling just laughed, and said "we will see about that." Then said "don't ************ there" and ***g up!!!They need to be stopped from this type of threats and harrassment.Can't any agency do anything about this type of stuff?
