SCAM!!!!!

THis number appeared in my Visa account statement since June last year

They said that my computer was hacked

They tried sending me an email saying I confirmed a purchase $4000 which wasn’t me. They had this phone number listed on the email sir customer support. So I called them and they acted like they were trying to help me dispute the transaction. They fished for my name, social, date of birth. They then tried to connect me with my bank account to freeze my accounts. ***KING SPAMMERS DONT ANSWER IT!!!

My advice to everyone is to get ROBO****ER on your phones in order to have a shield between you and these scammers. I have no vested interest in promoting ROBO****ER. I am just an extremely satisfied customer who wants to offer good advice. I am amazed when I read about the scammers calling people. I am even more amazed when people state that they keep calling! If you received even one call from a scammer, scammed or not, it might mean that you have little or no call screening/blocking and security on your phone. ****ing up on a scammer just validates the point that the scammer got to you in the first place. After a proper setup, ROBO****ER won’t even let them get through to me. In fact I have my phone set to silence any caller who is not on my contact list. That means I will not even know they are trying to get through. I only know after the fact with a Missed Call notification, at which time I do a Reverse Lookup of the number. So come on people, if you can’t afford ROBO****ER, at least stop feeling obligated to answer the phone just because you hear it ringing!!! Unless you are at work and being paid to answer a company phone, you are not obligated to answer. REMEMBER THAT!!!

They told me that hacker had take over my wifi and computer, and they were trying to get my bank information.

Just today and within the span of 1 hour, my phone records show this **** calling 32 times before I left the land line off the hook.

Thick accent very rude - trying to convince me I owe him $2000+ for past years of "Norton Artificial Intelligence" - this was also accompanied with an email saying I signed up for 10 years and owe $9,999.99 - right...

Said we’d been hacked. Gave me the whole spiel about cleaning up our computer bc we are being hacked. Told him before I’d pay for it, my husband had to talk to him. Showed me a bunch of stuff. Quick to get off the phone!

I received a call from this number. I answered and said "Hello" four times. Just as I was about to ****-up, I heard a guy's faint voice who had an accent which sounded like it was coming from south-central Asia. I could hardly hear him and it sounded su****ious, so I ***g-up.

The guy had the creepiest voice I have ever heard. Not a good choice for a telemarketer! lol

They call me several times a day telling me that they are receiving error reports from my computer which I know is impossible. The weird thing is that they knew my name. I signed up for the ROBO calls to go into ROBO land so in fact these are not ROBO calls.

I kept getting Robo calls. When I tried to return their call they answered Microsoft

Claim to be Microsoft Technical Support. Called me on my cell. I have Macs at home but work on Windows for the government. Wanted the IP address of computer and MAC of the server. Told them server was in Arizona and I was in ******ia.

There new fishing scam is claiming to be Gmail.

This number is supposed to be Microsoft Customer service. I called 3 times because they downloaded Windows 10 on my ma****e without my permission. When I called to have them restore me to 8.1. They caused me more problems. 3 one hour sessions made things worse, and I ended up calling my personal Tech to get me out of the mess they made. It cost $65.00. Some how they shut down my printer from its wifi, and other problems. This is the second time that Microsoft wrecked my ma****e and cost me money. I would not purchase their service, because they are the ones who cause the problem, so they should fix it.

This is a huge scam. Previously got this call from a different number claiming to be Microsoft customer support. They get into your computer and lock it up unless you pay them. I didn't pay them. Thankfully my IT person was able to fix it but it was deep into my computer. DO NOT give them any information.

i was trying to talk to someone at amazon bout a warrenty on so****ing i ordered when this forign man came on the phone and told me i couldnt see my account cause there was fragilent things on my account said someone from germany was using my account and had stole all my info like bank account numbers and debit card numbers he showed me a list with forign adsdresses on it. said he would fix my computer i told him i did not have the money he said well give me a check number and send it in when you can 199.99. i told him i was not giving him a check number that i wanted to discuss this with my attorney, and a***n i am on a fixed income and have no money to send you. so now i an strressed over what they might do do my computer or my bank account since he was on my computer for near one hour i am sure he has all my info. so what can i do about this/????? i called microsoft they said they had no service people calling to fix computers if you nee them call rthem. so any ideas , thoughts that might help me??? thank you mary jamison

Microsoft needs to investigate and get this creep to stop calling, he calls and tells me he loves me, who is this creep, who does he think he is aside from being sick sick sick.

how would they know my computer was generating anything unusual? I fell for this once coming from Dell. They took control of my computer, tried to recover all my info. they were from India also. The Fed's got involved, It turned out to be a scam. Be very careful

This was blocked caller Id call that may or may not have come from some Micro Soft So-called Customer Support Center in India! Iam on the Do Not Call List and have an unlisted and unpublished number and this caller ***g up as soon as my answering ma****e came on. If this was a legitmate call from Micro Soft why did they block their iden***y?

This Number & caller came from Micro Soft Tech Support in India as person calling could not even speak English very well and called 3 more times from 955am to 10:15 am was rude and didnot know what they were doing. I emailed Micro Soft with a complaint on it! I am on the Do Not Call List!

This was the second call today with one at 4:31am & now 2d one at 9:55 am Weds 6-16-2010 Caller has blocked their id and never says a word when we anawer the phone or out own answering ma****e clicks in. Im on the Do Not Call List!

This was a 4;31 am blocked call from 800-642-7676 and it violates the law on acceptable calling hours as well as The Do Not Call List! Iam on the Do Not Call List and have an unlisted and unpublished number. This caller may end up with a lawsuit over it & FTC Complaint! 4:30am MST is insane.

Received a call from 8006427676 today. Found this iden***y on-line: Product Support by Microsoft 1-800-642-7676. I had been in recent contact with Microsoft Support re a computer problem. Caller today did not speak when answering ma****e picked up the call. Not sure why they would not speak up. Not sure I trust that this was Microsoft since they really had no reason to be calling me back at this point in time, but since they did why not leave a message? Computer-generated call? Wrong number on-line?

This call was received at 3.30 am MST and caller name was blocked! Iam on the Do Not Call List and this early am call also violates laws that set acceptable hours for calling and I got a second call from them in less then 2 minutes as well. I have an unlisted & unpublished telephone number & will file FTC Complaints and suit them.

The True Id of this caller was blocked and I received two calls from it,in less then 10 minutes and I am on the Do Not Call Register so I will file an TFC Complaints as well. And, I also have an unlisted and unpublished number.
