A collection company called looking for someone other than me. I asked who they were, but they wouldn't give me additional information. They wanted to know the phone number they called which I provided. They said they would remove me from the list. Who's removing my number...I don't know.

Chase called from CCA. I have nothing to do with either.

Just left a message..name shane?? very important..laughing..making sounds and laughing and commenting to someone, very unprofessional. I don't think they should use CCA in the calls..To me that is the Central Collection Agency, them I've heard of to files taxes..

Just got a call from CCA, claiming my 0 balance account has been turned over for an unpaid for phone.  Scary...they had the last 4 digits of my phone number.  What's this about?  I figured they were doing the call variation of phishing, but after reading some of these comments, I wonder if there's more to it than that.

They keep calling on my work phone for my deceased mother-in-law. I called the # back and they said they are a collection agency. They were short in speaking and alittle rude. They said that the number has been removed - yeah, we'll see.

Called at work looking for me but didnt leave a real message. Googled it and CCa comes up with a million possibilites.

They keep calling my 11 year old daughters cell phone. When I did a web search it said it was a collection agency. This is a new phone and is a pre-paid phone so I have no bill that may be past due. It costs me when my daughter has to pick up voice mail messages from them, annoying!

It was a blocked # on my caller ID and the lady asked for my boyfriends X-girlfriend. I asked how she got this number, & she said someone called her from my # hmmm?? anyway She said her name was ms. agent isnt that clever. and gave me the call back # 1-800-646-1336. ext 3209.

doesn't leave message; keeps calling; won't give me details when I call back this #; but wants more detailed information from me;

They Called my house and my parents answered. They told me to call back. I'm NOT!!!

Recieved call from 800-646-1336.  They left Reference number.  Recieved 2nd call. They left name of "Jim Linch".  Called them back, they answered "CCA".  It was for AT&T Wireless (formally Cingular).  Looked up "CCA".  Maybe Collection Company of America.
