I received a call at work from a Mr. Reid who is nothing but a courier asking me to be at work between the hours of 10am and 2pm, I asked what this is about and who is the letter from he told me Carey Law Firm and the number 800-649-8440 and asked me to contact them and asked me not to say how I got their information. Right there a red flag!!! First of all, w***ver this Carey Law Firm is, I****ume is a debt collector is going a***nst the law and threatening me with a lawsuit.  I checked with the local civil courts in my county and there are no judgements a***nst me.  There are laws debt collector have to follow in order to file a civil suit a***nst you. This supposed law firm are nothing but s***bags.  there is a website called Bud Hibbs, if you provide them with information on a debt collector they will let you know who they are and give advice on how to handle the situation.  I received no correspondence from this law firm whatsoever but I did file a complaint with the FTC and the New york attorney generals office. Stacey, Did he ever show up? He threatened to come by my work tomorrow. Also threatened to go to my parents house.

Called and said they were coming to my work tomorrow to present me with a letter of intent. I called the attorney # left on voice mail, but was taken to a voice mail box and no one would return my call. They also called my mother and threatened to come to her  house. I filed a complaint with the FTC.

A man named Mr. Reed called and said he would come to my home at a certain time.

They give you a fake address and fax number.  Does anyone know the real fax no.
