CREDIT UNION WEST URGENT SECURITY NOTIFICATION-UNUSUAL ACTIVITY. TOLL FREE 1-800-657-6034. I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THAT CREDIT UNION,I CONTACTED MY BANK AND THEY SAID IT IS A SCAM TRYING TO OBTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Received an SMS message from this number, says it's CU West Credit Union and that they have an urgent security notification: unusual activity on my acct... but I don't have an account with this CU. Obviously fishing, do not call.

Text Message. Purported to be Credit Union West, but this is a SCAM. Do not give them any information. If you check CUW's website, they know there is a scam based on text messaging.

I get text messages to my cell phone telling me to call this phone number. It states in the text message that it is from Credit Union West but I do not have an account with this CU. I look up CU West online and found a local number for this bank, I called them and was told that this is a fraud! Do not call this number!

this # appeared as a text msg saying to call b/c of fraudulant activity on my credit union west account. i do not have an account with this ppl. so this seems to be a scam to me. the real credit union website said it was as well.

8006576034 repeatedly calls my cellphone. Returning call gives busy signal. I've filed a complaint with the FCC.

Same complaint as everyone else. Received three texts in the last two weeks saying "Credit Union West urgent security notification: unusual activity" each text gave a different toll free number this is the most recent one given. How do you get them to stop texting you?

I've received many texts from Credit Union West that are not legitimate. Please stop these now!

Credit Union West urgent security notiification. When you call they ask you for your credit card number DON'T DO IT. I tried to get a person but there is no way it is automated.

I received multiple text messages from a "Credit Union West" and this number was in one of the messages. The message stated that I needed to call this 800 number regarding some unuusual activity. This morning I got a TEX MSG from Credit Union West -my bank- Telling me about an URGENT SECURITY NOTIFICATION: Unsual activity toll free call 800 657-6034. I did not call that number, instead I called my personal banker who told me to ignore the message. W***ver is doing this is randomly text messaging numbers. Credit Union West NEVER asked for my cellphone. Actually, I just got a new number. if you receive a message like this, do not call the number they indicate you. Go straight to your bank or call your personal banker. THIS IS SCAM!!!

Same as the rest of you, this number has called / texted my cell phone a few times now. Honestly, it's not cool that these sort of places can do such a thing.

I received the same message, I called Credit Union West and they had nothing to do with the text message. The Credit Union West representative said that they had this happen last week and apparently a new batch of text message were sent out today. I tried calling and at first got a recorder asking for a credit card number. I tried calling back a***n and it said the number was disconnected. Its fraud and you should not give out any personal information to them.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! This number is from a block of numbers that may be purchased online. Signup and activation takes $10 and about 5 minutes. I called the number and it loops asking me for my credit card number. I put the phone down and just let it ask for... a couple hours. Interesting note on the signup website for this 800#... there is no contact information... hmmmm I think this is a website FOR scammers!

Got a text from a so-called credit union, stating that I had unusual activity with my account. Called the number and an automated recording asks for personal information, including credit card number.Your bank will never ask for your credit card number! This is b.s. Don't reply to this.
