number calls almost everyday and does not leave a message. They are a debt collector but unsure what for. All the say is, "this message is for so and so, if this is not so and so, do not listen to the rest of this message. If you are so and so, please listen to the rest of this message"   They never say what or who they are! Very bizarre, I don't wana write a check to a unknown source...

I have been receiving calls from this number: 1-800-658-2184. A woman with a mexican accent tells me that my husband has a debt with Radio Shack and that since he hasnt paid it they are collecting the debt. She saids that they are working for Citibank and that they want the debt to be paid in cash in Western Union??????*****o.... what bank or agency will ask for that. This is a scam .there are some people  I know that have been receiving the same calls. We are making a complaint in Radio Shack . This is horasment bacause they call every day and even 2 to 3 times daily.

Don't trust URS for anything. They are bottom feeders. They use abusive language and will harass you at every turn.Since January of 2009 they have had 26 lawsuits filed a***nst them. Since August 2008 that number jumps up to 38 lawsuits filed a***nst them. Most of these lawsuits are for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Then in 2004 they were fined $240,000 for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This company uses illegal tactics to collect a debt, they don't care about our rights.My advice send a Cease and Desist letter now. And when they violate that sue them. You can get up to $1000 for every violation.

caller calls me ask for my ex-wife, tols me he needed to talk to her about so****ing, have not seen ex-wife in 3 years, dont want to see her, now they are calling my mom and dad, asking ? about me. this needs to be reported, they call all times all days, just stop picking up phone at this point.

Keep getting calls on my cell.  Message states this is Mr. Proctor calling for "...." If you are not him, please do not listen to the rest of this message... I am calling on behalf of United Recovery systems and this is an attempt to collect a past due debt you owe. It is imperative that you return this call as soon as possible."This is the third call left by this company. And if you listen to the voicemail recording it plainly states MY name, not the person they are trying to reach!!

Got a call from this number at my place of employment.  Caller did not identify who he was with or what the call was regarding.  When I answered he asked me to verify my address. I refused.  He then asked my for my social security number.  I refused.  He then replied, "So you are refusing to identify you are who I am trying to reach, then we will just proceed with legal action." At which point he ***g up on me!!

Have called several times but we did not answer. I did answer tonight.Told caller I was on the do not call list. She said we must not  be because she called us. Told her I was going to report her. Told me to do what I had to do. These people are rude.

Ashley from United Recover Systems called asking for information about a neighbor. The number on the caller id is 800 658 2184. She said she was from a collection agency and the neighbor owes money. This sure sounds like a violation of the Fair Deb Collection Practices Act.May a debt collector contact anyone else about your debt?If you have an attorney, the debt collector must contact the attorney, rather than you. If you do not have an attorney, a collector may contact other people, but only to find out where you live, what your phone number is, and where you work. Collectors usually are prohibited from contacting such third parties more than once. In most cases, the collector may not tell anyone other than you and your attorney that you owe money.
