Leave a CommentGet several calls a week from this company, whom I believe the caller says is UIS. They repeatedly call the main line number of the company I work for looking for one of our employees. And I'm the one that has to drop whatever I'm doing to answer the phone and get rather annoyed when the call repeatedly.I asked the guy who called just a little while ago what his name was, and what the company name was. After he told me, I told him that the employee could not receive personal calls at work, and he then said "Then why did you ask me, b***h".Rude, and disrespectful. And the call wasn't even for me.
Ms. Taz they are crooked. Back in 2004 URS was fined $240,000 for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They also have about 16 lawsuits a***nst them since January for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is the very reason I will not deal with the company. I am about to send them a cease and desist letter and try and see if Citi, the original creditor in my case, will deal with *****e main off for URS is in Texas, they do have ***nch offices across the country though.
Folks URS is nothing but crooks. They don't care about your rights as evidenced by the 34 lawsuits filed since August of last year for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.http://dockets.justia.com/search?query=United ... 7&max-year=2009***** they even paid $240,000 in fines back in 2005 for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.The only way you will get them to stop is likely by filing a lawsuit a***nst them for the violations.I am about to send them a cease and desist letter if they continue to call me after that then I will file a lawsuit a***nst them.
received numerous phone calls from these people both at home and at wor****!!finally talked with these people after sending them a letter informing them not to call me any more via registered mail (receipt required)and then they send a letter to me saying it must be ANOTHER United Recovery Service either in TX or FL but the internet only show the one(1) in Illinois. so who's trying to fool who with illigitemate strong arm tactics. These people must be as crooked as Dell Financial Services in getting money.......
Received this call indicating if I knew anything about my neighbor and stated their name. I informed them that I wouldn't give them any information. Then they tried to play the ******logical game that there was urgent information for my neighbor and that they needed information. I then asked where they were calling from. They indicated it was a financial ins***ution in Houston TX. Needless to say I refused to give them info. IDIOTS!The sad part of these *****s how many fall into their traps.
I have spoke with people at this number (800-658-2192), United Recovery Systems (USR). I told them that I researched them with the BBB and they are not a member. I question this. Most reputable companies join BBB. I did a little more research and they do not have a good standing with BBB. They let me know that they were trying to collect on a bill. The worry there is that I do not have a neglected account with the company that they are saying that I owe. My credit is still active and in good standing. I told the person on the phone that they need to contact the company they say they are trying to collect for. BUT, they still keep calling. BEWARE! Do not send them money. Always work with the company that you may owe. Do not give to a third party. Never! Just let them know that you will send payments directly to the company you owe and they should follow up with that company. Save copies of payments.
800.658.2192 calls this public school asking for employees. When told employees are in classrooms and cannot take calls they either **** up or are very rude wanting information or messages left. I refuse to take messages and tell them they cannot call here. Calls continue several times a day.

My guess is these people have ties-ins with law inforcement. They finally asked "you know the name Brittney Molen?" No, who gave you my na--CLICK.
I get repeated calls from this number and when I answer it's either a recording, or it disconnects.
called at 8 am on a Sa****ay morning, a recorded voice said "please stay on the line for an important message" which I did, and after 30 seconds of waiting, the call was disconnected and went to a dial tone.

I just bought a new cell phone, but this number called me at about 9:30 am. Hopefully, please leave me alone, don't call me a***n with this number.
Calling my cell phone everyday around 10 am with different toll free numbers from the United Recovery System. The past 2 days the United Recovery System has been calling around evening time on my cell phone.
I get these calls regularly and each time from a different number. No one is ever there and they leave no message. I ususlly tell these kind of people that if they cannot send proof the $$$ is owed, then the FTC will get in touch with them. They do not seem to understand plain english. Next stop is the FTC.
have no idea who they are
