Leave a CommentNCO student loan collection.Apparently these "classy" well-trained, guard dogs, will bark up the wrong tree.My uncle has a student loan from 20 years ago. Im the lucky chap that has the same name as my dead beat uncle. So "John davis" the collector thinks i'm lieing... He thinks im just denying that Im my uncle. WE HAVE THE SAME FREAKEN NAME!!! Anyways... These guys will call and call until a person might need therapy. I CANT SLEEP WITH OUT THEM CALLING. So i decided to help my uncle take care of this matter for good. Of course my recommendation and any professional will tell you "Its always best to make payments!" but its always best to know your options before negotiating with these "Classy" Collectors. Heres a website I found that some "Student Loan collector" Made... He spills the beans....http://www.studentloanfundamentals.com/blog/Hes a collector so i still hate him, but personally I think this is the first time some one actually came out the laid out the rules on the table. Its a mystery as to why this type of thing isn't more accessible.

Keeps calling and even calling family members, its not appreciated. They do not say why calling just call back asap.
I got the call too. After reading several posts regarding the same issues they attempt to contact me regarding, I will Push *60 on my phone and then #01# which will add them to the heap of erroneous calls I receive from ******, arrogant debt collectors.
Ma****e voice requested Jeff. Then it indicated I should be push 4 if not at this number. But that doesn't stop them. They keep on calling. I don't answer anymore -- Thanks to Caller ID
Caller claims they are a representative of NCO Financial Systems, Inc. a debt collection company. Caller requests that we return the call to
I recieved a call at work from a man who identified himself only as Russel O asking to speak to my employer, He was not available and I told him so. I asked him for his contact information. He restated his origonal question in a more demanding tone and asked for a contact number. I restated my origonal answer and informed him that unless he provided me with the name of the company or en***y that he represented, a call back number, and a subject matter I would not divulge any information, He became very agitated, mentioning so****ing about if I dont tell him why should he tell me and I ***g up on him. The red flags were his unwillingness to give his company and contact info and his overbearing controllive at***ude crumbling into that of an offended child when confronted.
I picked up the phone and the message said that my business was now registered on Google Maps. Since I had no desire to register it, I waited until the message gave me a chance to speak to someone about "marketing" my business. They used the name "reliable marketing" and I said I wanted no listing of any kind. They then ***g up on me.

I have signed up for no call lists and this number calls and leaves no message yet. Others have said it's some NCO collection company. I have no unpaid debt and someone even said the company was trying to get SSN#s from people. This seems like a major scam.
I receive calls several times a day. Most annoying is they called me, but a ma****e is on the other end saying, 'hello, it's important that we speak to you; please hold for the next available representative.' That message repeats about 10 times but a live person never talks. ***!
I received a message on my voicemail from this number instructing me that I had to call back within ONE HOUR in a very threatening tone. I do not think that is a very professional way to collect a debt even if it is valid, which I don't believe it to be. This company should be prohibited from such practices!
I received a phone call from this number and they left me a message in Spanish. Ummm....sorry, don't speak spanish. ***???
