Leave a CommentCall from this number , Melinda, claiming to have a cheque for this person. Ended up giving them a mailing address. They already had some information about the person. Wish I hadn't told them anything.
A family relative received a su****ious call from this number from a lady named Mary in Denver, Colorado. No last name was given and I don't live anywhere near Denver, Colorado. She said that she had a "birthday" package for me that was "accidently" sent to her and she wanted to send it to me. She asked for some personal details but the relative refrained from giving it to her. The relative told her that they will get back to her and this is the number they gave, adding that the package will sit by the phone until I called back. The relative tried calling this number back and was not able to get through. Please be careful if you receive a call from this number (or any other 1-800 number that looks su****ious) not to share any personal info.
