Bank of America legitimate number

I did not answer the call. Instead I called the number back. Auto reply indicated: BofA and debt collector. The disturbing part: the auto-reply asked for my Social Security Number (and other details.) I do not have a BofA account. Why are they calling me?

Called asking for someone I know. I said I didn't know the person and they ***g up.

Just got a call from this number on my iPhone and didn't answer it, they left no message. I see from the web it is supposed to be from BofA regarding a mortgage. My house is paid off and my loan was never through BofA, so this has got to be a scam.

This is a legimate BOA debt collector. If you're behind on your bill with BOA, I suggest you return the call.

Someone who says they are from Bank of America has called every day for the last two weeks.  The last was Tiffany today and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I got the run around and was told to call 800-669-6650 and give them my husbands social because I would not give it to her.  Told her we do not supply that info to anyone over the phone.  If I wouldn't give her that info on the phone, why would I call someone else and give them that info?  We do not have a mortgage with Bank of America and have told them repeatedlly not to call this number.  They don't get the message.

Received a phone call. No message left.
