This Rick Morgan joker called my son's cell phone saying he noticed my son was making minimum payments on his credit cards and he could help. Little does he know my son is a minor and does not have any credit cards. This is a complete and utter scam.

Rick Morgan called my Wife's cell. The first part of his call was cut off but the last part matched the other reports of his call Modus Operandi.The number this person or ma****e called from was 573-796-2173. Since the numbers called from are c****ing I imagine this person is buying disposable cell phones and using their number until the time is up on them and the going to a new one. When I googled 573-796-2173 there was a long list of people who had been called by this number recently.

Scam they want you Credit card # so they can take your money

Just received this same call from "Rick" on my cell phone. I called the 800 676 9314 number given from a land line and a woman answered. I asked for "Rick" and was told he was not available. I told her I thought he had reached a wrong number and wanted to verify who he was trying to reach. She said it was a courtesy call for debt relief services. I asked her if they were making random calls and she ***g up on me.

Is there a way to stop this a**hole from calling people? I didn't pick up my phone and he left the exact same message you all are talking about.

I got the same call and message.  He called me from 573-431-8991.

I got the same message on my phone at work--"I notice you are making only minimum payments on your credit cards. I can lower your interest rate to 1.5%. Ha!

Called, left same message as seen above. Called the  number left, simply said "Take me off your calling list" and they asked for my number. I gave it to them. No more calls yet. (I said it very abruptly and rudely... So they know I mean business -rolls eyes-)

Same deal here.  Rick Morgan "returned my call and apologized because it took so long.  he had a new program that had just come across his desk that could lower my interest rate to 1.9% and cut my credit card payments in half.  He also 'saw' that I was making jsut the minimum payments on them right now.  This was my last courtesy call so don't hesitate to call...What a load of bull.  My credit cards are paid off.  I never called him.  Nothing but a scam.  Phishing for info and ****ers.  His real number came back as 314-863-4706.  I would love to call just to mess with him but this is my work number so I am resisting.

Some ***** named Rick Morgan...half the message was cut off but it mentioned I was making minimum payments on the credit cards I don't own...

Caller said he was "returning my call" and "sorry it's taken so long to get back to you". Well I never did call him. He said he could tell I was making "minimum payments on my credit cards" while I do have credit cards, I do not pay the minimum balance on them, I always pay more than the minimum payment due.He said to call him back b/c that was his last "courtesy call". The number he left was 800-676-9314.I wish I could get some compensation from this guy for his lies, and deception.

I block my number, then call repeatedly and play annoying music. It costs them money for each call.

Rick Morgan's message has so many of the elements of a sales call it is almost funny.  I fortunately paid off all of my credit cards a year ago; he is simply fishing for someone in trouble.  No bites here, Rick - take your pole to another pond!

Got this robo call at my place of employment from Rick Morgan claiming this was my "last courtesy call" to lower my credit card payments.  It's a robo call made to sound more personal and less "scripted".  Left the number 800-676-9314 to call back.  Naturally I'm not calling back....I'm sure it's a scam. Remember people, if a company is calling you offering to help lower your payments, and they ask for MONEY to do this....it's a scam!

Got a call from a guy named Rick trying to offer me lower credit card rates. Let it go to voice mail because i didn't recognize the number. He left a call back number of 1-800-677-9314. I didn't bother calling back because i knew it was a scam right off the bat.
