What's up my financial allies who also get seemingly harrassed over nothing.  These guys are horrible ****s just looking to steal as much as I can imagine they dream of doing to some poor old couple or single mother, you get the picture etc......everyday.  Bottom line is, don't let them get to you or give you anxiety.  If you do make the mistake of picking up the phone though pretend to wanna work with them if you feel like having some fun.  You can say some of that stuff the previous commenters were saying they did.  My favorite is asking them what level of due dilligence they perform when putting these properties for sales?  Have fun with the thieves.

They called my wife's cell phone daily for a week and left messages to call "Ed Blanchard".  I did so and after waiting a long time and getting ***g up on once, I reached someone who said she would remove my number when I told her the person she was looking for was unknown to me.  She may have mispronounced the last name - if so, she was relative fishing: calling everyone with the same last name hoping to strike paydirt.

My 91 year old mother keeps getting calls from this number. They say she owes money from a loan my sister had, yet they don't have my sisters last name. My sister nor my mother have any outstanding loans. I am afraid to call to get names and details because I don't want to s**** getting calls myself. My mother is horribly upset and doesn't answer the phone any more. This is worry some at her age. Being 91, she doesn't remember if they said the name of the company. It is harassment at this point. Can anyone give me advice on what to do?

NCO student loan collection I thought They sold car insurance but student loan collection is their game.....These guys keep calling and calling... Specifically this guy name "Paul Smith" a collector keeps calling and they even try to get information about me from my 10 year old son.....They are collecting on student loans, and they will try to strong arm you into making commitments that are not realistic.  I kept telling them that my hours were cut and I couldnt make the HUGE payments they were asking me to make..... SO I WENT ON THE INTERNET....These guys just lied.... I was able to negotiate a monthly payment with them that was more affordable...I found this guy on the internet he calls him self "The rogue Student Loan Collector" and he showed me everything I needed to do to SHUT THESE COLLECTORS UP!!!http://www.studentloanfundamentals.com/your-rights/Read their stuff Seriously.... I get calls from this outfit at least3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes I am to call a Noelle Lucas back or Nicole Lucas the voice is the same so I am****uming that the person calling is really Sam Smith. Sometimes they want me to call Karen. I just ignore them as the SOL is in play so there is nothing they can do but harress me. I can play that game as well as the next guy.

Another recorded call from "Nick Lucas" at 800-685-4343. No other identification - business id or reason for call.  Had several of these calls in the last few months, but fortunately my home phone is only there to hook up my computer so the ringer is rarely on.I don't know any "Nick Lucas" and though I do have some outstanding debts, all of those notifications were sent by mail.  glad to see this is yet another bogus company trying to take advantage of these financial hard times.

They keep calling me @ my home repeatedly asking for two different names that do not live at my residence and are not related to me. I have had this same phone number for 27 years. I tried to find the reason for their call. They told me it is in regard to a Speigel account that is overdue. Never had an account with them and never will. I explained that no one lives here by that name and want to make a complaint. The guy told me "Two wrongs don't make a right!" And ***g up. I want them to STOP calling me at my home disturbing my family at all hours.

This recorded call came in at 8:15 a.m. this morning (Sa****ay)I am sick of this number calling my house. I have excellent credit and no debt and they have no right to be calling me all day every day.

I am sick of this number calling at least 3 or 4 times a day leaving an automated message on my voice mail. Can anyone make them stop!

I have had this number calling in the past and now it has s****ed up a***n 3 or 4 times a day leaving a recorded message. I do not know who they are or what they want. I have had excellent credit for years and have no debt. The way they operate is very annoying.

We have received countless calls from this number. After reading this blog an realising this company is bothering other people I decided to follow the advice and call them back. I got the message from the lady at the other end that'This call is being recorded for quality****urance purposes'. I then asked if she wouls hold while I set my recorder going so I could also record the conversation.The reply was ' I will not hold anything while you record! Have a great day and goodbye'. So hopefully thats the end of that one!

I get those calls daily but I ignore them since it is a common knowledge that NCO employs ********* criminals! Do not let them intimidate you! Most of them have bad credit and are well trained conartists who are not even allowed to work in USA. Do not give them any info since they will try to empty your bank accounts. If you get caught up with bad debt, do file bankruptcy protection. Obama is presently working on easing up the rules which Bush messed up.

Calls daily to my work phone. A recorded message saying I need to call them back. I was able to get hold of a woman at NCO. I told her I had no debt and to take me off the call list. She said I needed to follow the procedure on the recorded message. When I said I would not do that, she responded with a very rude tone, "You will be hearing from us." And she was right! I hear from them daily. I have a high credit rating and no debt.

Calls 1-2 times on my home phone daily and once a day on my cell phone daily. Now how they got my cell phone number is beyond me but there is never anyone on the phone, just says NCO Financial to collect a debt collection and I have no debt to be had!!!

Caller leaves a recorded message with some reference number?...I Don't have any debt! I will NOT jump through the hoops of any unknown caller.

They call number of times without leaving a message. I ask them to stop calling, to only talk by mail.

These calls are recorded calls. They do tell you it is a debt collection call. They ask you to call back. My thoughts...if they really want to talk to me they should have a live person call ME, not have me call them. I tried calling once...I was put on hold for over a half hour. Never did talk to a live person. I've also gotten recorded calls from a guy named Fillmore(?) asking me to call him back. Same company; same logic applies.

I s****ed to receive a call a day from them. I never answer and usually I'm not home. They leave a RECORDED message that they are NCO and by law they must inform me that they are a debt collection agency! I know for a FACT that I do not owe anyone anything. And if I did, wouldn't I receive a statement or so****ing in the mail to try to collect it??

These people buy very old debts for just pennies on the dollar, hoping to coerce people into paying. Unfortunately, I defaulted on a 2,000 credit card bill when I was young and ******. The debt is now PAST the statute of limitations, so I won't even talk to these people. Their newest scam is to offer you a credit card which you can put your debt on (and will settle for 2/3 of the outrageous amount...they're trying to charge me 7,000 total because of "interest." They usually call 3-4 times a day. My new cordless phone allows me to block the numbers! Yay!

For one whole year they have called me every day multiple times. I do not have any outstanding debts in my credit report in the last 18 years. please have them cease and desist this harrasment.

This number showed up on caller id. They called the first time and let ring 20 times. They called back and let it ring over 40! I only answer numbers that I recognize...the reason for caller id.

I am not sure, why he is calling. If I have some debt, let him send me a letter explaining the details. I checked my credit report and it is clean. I am not sure how these people got my phone numbers and definitely a concern for my privacy. These people should be held responsible and heavy fines should be levied aganist them for repeating their stuborn at***ude.

I don't respond to messages left. They Identify themselves as debt collectors on recorded messages. They do not ask for me by name, and I have never received written notification of debt. Calls persist.

I receive calls everyday. I do not have debts to be collected.

Leaves message with reference number - when I call them with this reference number they insist upon having my phone number (which is unlisted) and refuse to pull up the reference number they are leaving on my phone.

Harrassed by NCO over a debt that is not legitimate.  Each time I call them they insist I give them my phone number, which I refuse to do because it is unlisted, I offer to give them their reference number and they say without my home phone number they cannot deal with my call.

I continue to receive calls from 800-685-4343 and I do not have any****ociation with them.  The calls are for my 37 year old son who has not lived in my houshold in over 15 years.  This is an abusive invasion of my peace and apparently they do not care.  I would be ashamed to behave like that but obviously my Mother did not raise them.  I now delete calls with glee and find a small amount of satisfaction in that.  I would rather work for a living than irritate people constantly.
