I called just for my own entertainment knowing it was a scam. I was just curious what they would say. They said that it was their way of thanking me for being a card holder. But I don't have any credit cards. When I questioned how I could be thanked for being a preferred card holder when I don't have a credit card, she said that I don't have to have a credit card to parti****te. I repeated myself and asked my question a***n and she just continued on with her s***ch. I asked my question a third time and I guess it became obvious that I was not going to take the bait because she just ***g up. I hope that the elderly and ignorant don't get scammed by these people.

I called as well. They tried to set me up for some magazines and asked for my credit card number. I told them there was no way I was giving it over the phone and they tried to convince me it was safe because "you called us!" Because that makes perfect sense. I doubt I'll be seeing an invoice or any magazines- even if I do I'm sure as***** not paying for them. The mailing didn't even come under a person's name- it's the building I work in's name.

I ate the bait!,,,,, ***mer, please don't call the number, they will ask for your credit card number and subscribe you to a magazinze service. In case you made the same mistake as I did call 1800 308 6247 to cancel the order.... hope this helps

Well i recieved this letter today 032008, saying that i need to call the number so i can be entred into a sweepstake; its a FRAUD !!!!!

Oh ***mer, thot I was the only winner of the $2.1 mil!! LOL  I got the mailer today, it is currently in the trash.  Has anyone been called by them?  I thot I recognized the number as an annoyance call I had received previously....

first thing i did is search in google i found all your comments, yes its a scam ..

i recivied the same letter does anyone have the same entry code.  i know most of the time they send out the same codes thinking that people wont figure it out

Received written notification 3/3/08 that I could be $2.1M winner.  Called the 800 number and they wanted me to verify that I was a credit card holder.  I told them I didn't own a credit card; said sorry must have mailed to you by mistake.  Yea, right!  I'm under 18 years of age.Don't waste your time!

My boyfriends mother received a mailing from NME Prize Disbur*****t.  She is in her eighty's so I wonder if they are targeting the elderly.   The address listing on the mailing is 16120 US Highway 19N - Clearwater, FL 33764.  It tells her to contact the processing center at 800687***1.  Thank God she asked first.  She cannot afford to get caught up in this stuff.

Yeah, this is a scam for sure.  Receiving a 2.1 million dollar prize out of no where....uhm...right.  Finding a central location where we all could report this would be helpful.

Have received two "urgent" communications from these nuts -- both went into the shredder!

Yep, got the Two Million One-***dred Thousand Dollars entry instructions.  A telephone number to call... what do they think I'm crazy?  You know they will ask information over the phone that no one should give! - Call your local police Dept and report it.I feel sorry for anyone that bites on this. Especially when they probably will ask for money to give you the money you'll never see. Liz

ASKED FIRST FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE OF CREDIT CARD - I REQUESTED AN INVOICE & OFFERED TO PAY BY CHECK/MONEY ORDER...RENEE (SPVSR) ADVISED SAFE TO GIVE CREDIT CARD # SINCE THERE IS A TELEPHONE # THEY CAN BE REACHED ON...ASKED FOR MY DEBIT CARD...I ENDED CALL BY ****ING UP...MARGE (REP) AND RENEE WERE VERY COURTEOUS - A SHAME THAT IT APPEARS TO BE A SCAM - USUALLY SCAMMERS ARE RUDE AND VERBALLY ABUSIVE!

NO call comment, just common sense. $2.1 million for ME? How and Why? lol. Yes NME Prize Disbu*****ts. I'm a firm believer that WHEN you put in the work towards so****ing, you get compensated. But to receive money out the sky is rediculous. :-l

I don't pay attention to the calls or phone numbers,I just delete them. I did however receive a mail post from them today,1/11/08, informing me of my great win!!! Ha!! If I'm not mistaken I looked this number up once before, and a Ca***ian office was investigating these scam runners. Apparently this Ca***ian company investigates all fraud.
