Allegedly from court system

this is a legit company. I work in a haflway house and they were calling for a former client who is no longer here.He stated that they were calling on behalf of portsmouth muni****l court.

I called them back and they said I had an unpaid seat belt violation from 1991. I know I paid it and told them I disputed the debt and they refused to do anything about it and continue to call.

Calls daily just after 2pm. I could set the clock by it. Never s***d nor run traffic lights. I am not in one of the counties using Redflex. P'raps they want to irritate me.

They called... I called them back and gave them the ref number they mentioned. They were calling my number about my ***hers ambulance ride over a year ago. He passed away. I told them this, and they said they would take care of it.

I have also received a call from this number 800-693-6835. I returned the call and found out it was actually a call from the Columbus County Courthouse about a s***ding ticket I had received back in 2002. So the number is legit and they are a muni****l courthouse, not bs-ing you there.

Called me from 1-800-693-6835 and left message stating that it was Doug from Clark Co. Muni****l Court with an ext. # and refernece #.  It is some type of collection agency.

This call is from a collection agency located in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. The Federal Trade Commission considers this call a violation and cause for complaint. Notify your Better Business Bureau Bureau for the correct name and address of this agency. Mail them a certified letter, return receipt requested, and notify them of the violation, instructing them not to make further contact, or else they will be reported to the FTC.

I get the same thing.Just called back from work and a guy named Frank picked up.Just decided to bother him by pressing the ****ons on the phone while he spoke.

I know for a fact that this collection agency is legitimite, because I remember my boss commenting outloud that his business partner ran a red light and a ticket came in the mail showing the traffic light camera photo of him in his SUV (he was laughing saying the picture showed his face clearly, and what a shmuck he was). That was several months ago, so I guess it was never paid and now a collector is calling.I didn't get any sleeziness from the call at all.

I have been receiving these calls for over a year. If you call the number they give you. DON'T. A Operator will break in and tell you this is an overseas call, to which TOLLS WILL BE CHARGED

I have recvd. calls from this number on a couple occasions and never returned the call.  I thought so****ing seemed really fishy when the messesages were left by well, lets just say, less than eloquent or professional people.  They say that they are calling from Chardon Muni****l Court and that they need to speak with me on a very urgent matter.  I am self employed and they keep trying to contact me at my business.  I also do a lot work for the Sherrifs Dept, and the county and know many of them personally.  If they wanted to find me---they would.  These calls are a joke.

getting calls from these people daily; always leave vm b/c I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. Finally called them back b/c I'm sick of their mssgs. They said they are calling from Muni****l Court (which one??) on behalf of CRS. Asked for "Tanika Woods". Told the lady I've never heard of her and asked her to stop calling me.

these people have been calling ever since I had my phone number c****ed.I had it c****ed to get some relief from telemarketes. It is an autamated system that tells you to call 800 693 6835 ref#12345.I called them this morning and some rude lady asked if spencer patent lived here!I said no and tried to explain this was a new number,but she just said well were gonna find him and ***g up!Ive had people pretending to be a cop call here asking if spencer was here.I did a search at the local courthouse yes****ay and was all worried as if i did so****ing wrong!  (im in the national registry for do not call) and ive called the phone company because my new number is an unlisted one?They say its cuz it was someone elses old number? They said they did so****ing so these people wouldnt call.they dont give you time to say im in the do not call registry. And they still continue to call!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from them saying that i owed for running a red light.  When I asked for the date of the violation, the representative didn't even know.  That seems very shady to me.

they are a ****** debt collection company that has bought a lot of old debt from parking tickets and the like.  they say i have a parking ticket from over ten years ago.  I dont bother answering them any more.  the funniest thing is when they have live people making the calls.  one guy wasnt paying attention and sang into my answering ma****e for 10 seconds before he quit and left his message.  if they had any authority to do anything i think they would already have done so****ing to me.  this has been going on for months and months.  they definitely arent going to make any money off of me.

I got a call too from the same number but didn't answer. The VM said they are calling on behalf of Pike County Muni****l court. I have never been to Pike county in my life!!!I think we should report this to BBB or Attorney General immediately.

I received a call from them today on my cell and didn't answer because I was on a call at my desk.  I don't s***d and I don't run red lights, is this a scam???

I have just received a call for my daughter about some court case with some case number in the message, stating that my daughter should call them back immediately. My daughter does not even live on this address for almost 9 years. When I called her about this "court case". She does not know anything what they are talking about.

This is a debtcollection call from either Redflex Traffic System ora collector outsourced by Redflex Traffic Systems.   It is anattempt to collect on a photo camera ticket you probabalyreceived six months to more than one year before the time of the call.   I have not determined yet whether this is an ordinarydebt collection call or if it is the precurser to a civil lawsuitor more severe collection effort.

received phone call to call this number about a very important matter regarding a traffic light violation in Ohio. This was in reference to Redflex Traffic System. Called the number and someone indicated that the ticket was $178 and that I should make the payment.I've decided not to make payment until I receive written notification in this matter. I was in Ohio, but this sounds like a scam.

Daily I get calls "regarding a very important matter with the muni****l court". The call does not mention what muni****l court but leaves the 1-800-693-6835 number to call. I don't have caller I.D. and I've never returned the call.
