National Action Financial Service, a debt collector, is a division of Sitel inc..Phone: +1 615.301.7100,Toll-Free (in U.S.): +1 866.95.Sitel This is a company That use the telephone as a weapon to harass you into paying on old and uncollectible Debt.. They will continue to call until some action is taken. With The Internet and a computer, they are able to call millions of numbers with little or no cost. What can weDo to stop this?
It was an automated message asking to return the call at the listed number, also stating, "this is a call from a debt collector". Turned out to be National Action Financial Services. They asked for my phone number and asked if I was Jason. I told her no, she asked me to confirm the phone number, I did and she apologized and said our number would be removed from their list. Quite painless, unless they call back in a week, we'll see.
A Mr. Newman is calling about a "sensitive matter". Will not leave detail message. Calls every day.
lickmydicl
Almost everyday, I get a call from this number & it says to call a Mr. Newman & is about a sensitive issue...I have no idea what it is about.
call everyday leaving messages to call regarding debt collection
I have no debt. These people don't even know my name. They will not give me a valid number to call back. They haven't returned my calls. I seriously think this is a scam.
at 8 am this morning I recieved this call from this number. He wanted totalk with someone that does not even live here. He was rude and getting angry with me because I would not let he talk to this tanisha. My name is Tanisha, nor has it ever been,. further more he woke me up out of a dead sleep. Whne I called them back, they claimed that my number was not in their system. Funny, I do not owe any debts, I am new to this area and I mot the person that they are looking for.
constant calls and unpleasant messages...
I received the same automated message. I called the number and spoke to a customer representative. He asked for my phone number and it turned out that the debt listed was for someone else. He said he would take my name off their calling list. He was very nice. You don't have to give them any personal information, all he needed was the phone number. He mentioned that most of the debts they try to collect are old therefore the phone numbers are usually incorrect. If you want them to stop calling, I suggest to just return the call and clear things up.

A recorded message comes through on my cell phone at least once a day. Always the caller ID indicates "Unknown". Mr. Newman says he is not soliciting anything and represents a collection agency. And I am asked to call his phone number. Funny thing is I do not have any late payments ever on my credit history. It is pristine. This is a fictious caller and nasty way to get you to call the number and give them your personal data. I won't do it. I NEVER pick up when a caller refuses to identify. Do NOT bother to call these people. They DO NOT deserve your time (or your money). Who would ever work for a company like that? They should be ashamed of themselves. Street beggars are atleast honest about showing their face.
Dear Mr. Newman since you want to use an automated voice service to annoy people 24/7 and not have a REAL LIVE PERSON answer your phone, oh excuse me...one of your many representatives regarding a debt that you don't want to disclose, I have filed a complaint with the FTC. Now, let's see what Federal Laws you are breaking...
Tried to collect on a debt that is over 10 years old.
consistent calling a place of business
Who is it?
constantly calling at my place of business.
you need to call mr. newman @1-800-697-4981.once a***n call mr. [email protected] is a call from a debt collector.
National Action Financial Service 800-697-4981 Ext 2936, could not understand the woman's name (garbled)
They call all the time and harass me about a non-existent Fleet bank account, Fleet was taken over by B of A The account was transferred and became a B of A account, they still lie and say "You owe money", F*** no I don't, B of A apparently never paid fleet's accounts, or listed them as charge -offs, straight LIE.As well, were there a debt, it's now barred by Statute of Limitations, and irrelevant now They lie and say it's NOT under Statute, and still due, F*** them,
I get the same calls. These call cost them almoust nothing but the persons time. If you want nothing and **** up they win. The key is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, then the cost goes up. Every few seconds is another call they could have made. If I have nothing to do I keep them on the phone as long as I can. I agree to everything and get details of everything until it's time to pay. Then I put them on hold to go get the payment. After a few of these unproductive 5-10 minute calls it will either become too unproductive to continue or they will get ****ed with the people playing their own game and quit the job. If we all do it they will loose big money. Please repost this as much as you can so we can make an impact.
I believe this is NAFS (National Action Financial Services), a collection agency in Williamsville, NY. They are really creepy people. My advice is to humor them if they call you. Promise them anything, but give them no true information. Have some fun with them. If they insult you, don't worry about it. That is how they've been trained. S**** crying or laugh or do so****ing weird. Or, just be polite and admit your financial situation, but don't take them personally. Do not give them a SS number, bank routing number, account number, NOTHING!!

Unknown debt-when they called, my son answered and when he asked who they were they asked who he was. He gave them a bogus name (Jim Bo Bob) and they said--"This is serious-I need to speak to the lady of the house, I need information from her." when he asked what they needed, he was told they needed her social security number. While he was on the phone he looked up the number and found all the complaints and scam info so he told them he knew this was a scam and they ***g up on him when he told them not to call a***n. This was late last week, yet we are still getting this annoying phone call!
Leaves msg very hard to hear regarding serious business matter and to return call to 1-800-697-4981
debt collectors for non-existing debt.
Asked for my wife and demanding that I tell them where she was. When I refused, and said "who is this?" in a raised tone, the woman said "don't you dare raise your voice to me." I called back after ****ing up and got a guy that knew I ***g up on them and when I told him never to call a***n, he s****ed taunting me with words like "oooogh, what are you going to do?
no debts owed
debt collectors for non-existing debt.
time is running out on car parts ,I do not have a car.
every day I am getting call from this number. is there any way we can do so****ing to stop them doing this?
Same thing. Called during holidays and very rude. Yelling and ****ing up on us. Also interrupting. We asked what the debt was for, they won't say and don't know. I'm filing official complaint with FTC.
I get daily morning calls, sometimes as early as 8am as well as evening calls at late as 930 pm. It doesn't sound like anyone has an answer how to resolve this harrassment...
These people have the wrong number, but refuse to c****e it. If I can find their address I will sent them a certified letter from my lawyer to cease and desist. They will only get the answering ma****e, because I will never call back this Mr. Newman who won't state what the call is about. Keep talking to the ma****e, you *******!!!
I've been getting these calls since just before Thanksgiving. I have only a car loan, no biggie either. For two years, I fielded several debt collection calls for the previous owner of my phone number. At least real people with pleasant manners were on the other end who apologized profusely for having disturbed me. One day a very nice policeman telephoned looking for her. I told him my problem and he promised to deliver the message--most likely in person. The phone calls stopped shortly thereafter. LOLWish it were that simple for THESE guys. After what I've read here and elsewhere on the web, I doubt I will ever call them back.Still I am curious whether or not they could be fined the $1000 per violation, especially after they have been notified that they have the wrong person and that the number they keep dialing is on the national do not call list. For mine alone, the fines should be somewhere in the ballpark of $50,000 now, $4,000 of that just yes****ay... Where are those frivolous lawsuit lawyers when we need them?
This company keeps calling no matter if it's early morning or later night. I have no debt and no business relationship with them. By reporting several times to https://www.donotcall.gov/, they are still keeping calling.
calls everyday at 8:12am. what a nut.
Same here. Called insisting I had a debt - see lots of other complaints online complaining about this number.
Continuous calling. National debt collection agency. These people are rude, I have no debt, but when you ask what it is for they will not tell you until you give them info. I told them forget it. Will give this number to att, gen. office. KC , MO.
I called our local police tipline, left a message about this call. Today is the third time they have called my home. The first time I heard a recording, and ***g up. The second time, I called them back at the number listed on the recording. I have had similar experience as others listed here. The person who answered asked me for my name. I did not answer, but asked why they called me. He made up a name from the one listed on my caller ID (C Smith). I told him that wasn't my name. He raises his voice and a***n asks "are you so-and-so". I a***n said no, and told him to remove my phone number from their calling list. Guess it didn't do any good because they called a***n today...
I have the same problem with them. The original call is a recording, stating this company is trying to collect a debt (the call originates from 1-716-650-6240). The first few times, I just ***g up, and did not call. This morning, I called back, the person asks my name. I tell him, you called me. He asks if I am so-and-so. I say no. He asks a***n, but s****s yelling at me. I tell him, you have the wrong number, and **** up.
THEY CALL MY HOUSE AND SOME TIMES WHEN I ANSWER THE CALLER ****S UP THE PHONE , VERY RUDE BASTERED THEY ARE INDEED , HOW CAN I STOP THIS CALLER.
They call my cell phone daily. I do not have any outstanding debt and I would think if I did it would have had to be cleared up or I couldn't have purchased two houses in the last 10 years. I can't find who the numbers belong to.
These *******s call my house everyday and I am sick of it. I don't have no outstanding debt anymore and they won't say who they are. The *******s better stop calling my phone.
same as everyone else. They claim to be from an attorneys office and collecting on a stale debt. I told them I was disputing this debt and they become extremely rude. They have repeatedly called me at home and work although I have repeatedly told them not to. This has now become harassment and I will be contactin my attorney.
THEY CALL EVERYDAY! I CALLED BACK AND SPOKE TO "MR NEWMAN" AND HE ASKED ABOUT A DEPT THAT WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND I TOLD HIM HE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO COLLECT ON A DEPT THAT OLD! HE SAID ITS ON HIS DESK I SAID SORRY AND ***G UP! IT STOPPED FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW ITS ON A***N AND I CALLED THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED WAS EXTREMLY RUDE! TOLD HER TO STOP I SPOKE TO NEWMAN AND SHE TRIED TO PLAY A GAME WITH ME! HOW DO I KNOW WHY WE'RE CALLING??! WHAT THE F***! YOU HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR A MONTH I TOLD YOU I SPOKE TO NEWMAN !! SHE THEN ***G UP ON ME!!
I continually get the same calls telling me I must call Mr. Newman to resolve this matter---WHAT MATTER? I have not returned the calls---they will have to leave me more information before I call them.
Everyday a message is leftSame as other messagesHow can we get this caller blocked????? Please advise.
Yup they call every single day. It's the same as the rest of the postings "to solve this matter call Mr. Newman at 800-697-4981. They never state a name either. I should have my dog call! Hope they enjoy listening to my ma****e. Come to think of it I should say "Hello this is Mr. Newman and you've reached 800-697-4981....!!!!
I receive daily phone calls from "800-697-4981". Recording claims to be a debt collector telling me to phne Mr. Newman. When I try answering the phone it ****s up.
I recently got a second cell phone and with it a new number. Who ever used to have the number must have been a ***, the number repeatidly get***** with mystery 800 numbers, including 800-697-4981. I held off activating my voice mail for a while because I was concerned about these **** calls. Sure enough, that dumb phone call from a woman saying to call Mr. Newman.
These people call once a day and leave the message "to resolve this problem call Mr. Newman at 800-697-4981. This message is from a debt collector." What problem are they talking about? Who do they represent? What is the name of the company. Does "Mr. Newman" have a first name? Why does the female leaving the message sound so intimidating. I feel like I have been called to the prin****l's office for so****ing I didn't do. These people are in SERIOUS need of a few Dale Carnegie courses. I hope they enjoy talking to my answering ma****e because with an at***ude like they have, it is as far as they will get.
These people are harrassing me! SO RUDE! I'm filing a complaint with the Police Deaprtment. They have no right to treat me like this.
These ididots call at least once a day. Claiming to be a collection agency.I called back and they asked for confirmation of my wifes social security #. but they were using her maiden name. when I said I would not give that information, they insisted. So I said if this harrasment didnt stop...I was goin to contact the attorney generals office in my state. The caller got f****ered and said wait a minute and put me on hold. after five minutes I ***g up.These are scamers trying to get money from public records of old collections...they should be jailed!
