I called CareCredit using the card number. First the rep said She was sure it was fine if they said so and it's just not her department. Maybe it's another department. Then it wasn't my account so she couldn't give information. I said I didn't want account information...I just wanted confirmation on the phone number. So then she said, oh yes the number is fine. So, she went from I don't know to certain without hesitation. I think she was just getting me off the phone and telling me what she thought I wanted to hear. Basically I wasted my time. I'm going to block the phone number.
I don't answer numbers I don't know. But I could believe it is Care Credit as I did just use the card twice in the last month. And I haven't seen a bill yet. Maybe I will answer if it is the same number next time.
Just received call from 8007071214.Didn't answer but called back.. It was a legitamate inquiry regarding a recent charge to my GE CareCredit card.
Care Credit calling to confirm recent charges to my card. Never left a voicemail, but I finally answered, and it was a ma****e. Not spam.
