continuous calls all hours of the day
There was a message left for my mother and first of all it was a recording saying that it was a personal business call, but it didn't mention the name of a business. Then it give you a number to call and to have calls cease. Then it s****s giving you other info. for supposed security reasons like; a file number and the website address of certifiednotice.com , but you go on this website and it has no explanation of anything or any links. only a ****e to type your phone number and a ****e to type in your "file number". It seems completely bogus! I'm sure it's a scam!
calls my cell phone. i don't know who they are or what they want and won't answer
I receive a minimum of 5 calls on my FAX ma****e each day. That show th Log For and Last transaction resultin in NO FAX. I have saved 23 numbers that I have blocked and they still keep cominj under different numbers. What a waste of paper. Cant so****ing be done about this?????????????????? 2735
They keep calling and leaving messages on my phone and I don't know anything about them or who they're referring to.
wants to collect money for some type of account i owe.
I have had this number call me at 2:15 in the morning!I have called the Collection agency and they have no answers as to why there is a collection in my name, and when I asked for who it was originally from, they kept giving me the wrong name! I have called many times, and many times they have ***g up on me! Even if it is a collection agency, they should have operators who can answer your questions without getting scared and ****ing up!
this call gave me file number icannot access it is scam iwould like stop it
I have asked this company to relay all messages through the mail, and even tried to pay a debt that is being disputed to get them off my back, I dont get it. The web site to pay online is so generic, I got no confirmation number, I got no email as I asked. I am worried now of iden***y theft, A***N. The debt is from an insurance agent who ripped all the customers off and left the office. It amounts to 42.00. MY god, what is this world coming to. IT is riduculous. What can I do
constant calls that I won't pickup because it uses my cell phone minutes.. 0561
The call was about someone who no longer lives at this address. The caller keeps calling asking for the same person. It is not our responsibility to provide a collection agency the forwarding address of someone who no longer lives here
I get a call once a week on my cell phone (so far) from these people. Its an automated voice stating they are looking for me. I do not owe anyone (or else I am already working with the specific company-not an agency-on payments). I have looked them up online on the BBB. Right now, it says their file is being updated and no information is available. I too have been given a file #, but I refuse to look on their website. If they have my cell #, they obviously have my home address as well. Send me so****ing in the mail **** heads. Then I'll have my lawyer look it over to see if it is legit. If they can't contact you via physical mail, do NOT under any cir***stances give out any of your personal information. NEVER agree to automatic debits from your bank account either.
Received call 2:49 pm and a***n at 5:50 pm 9-30-08 along with several other times in the last couple of weeks.
They called and give me a file number, but I can't give the web site to come up. Is this a scam?
They keep calling my cell phone. I ask them to quit calling. I think this phone number belonged to someone else before me.
Call appeared on caller ID as 800-708-6019 CCS or Credit Collection Service. This is a collection agency that may be a scam because they seem to ask for the name of a person who does not live here. In my area, the phone company (Qwest) has a new capability to offer customers called "AIN" for Advanced Intelligent Network. This allows the customer to block specific calls from cell phones and toll free numbers inbound to a land line or wired (non cell) phone. You can select up to 15 phone numbers to block. I had to call the phone company repair service to find out about it, and the numbskulls who answer the regular customer service phonje lines do not know about it. The repair people generally understand the system much better. The repair person explained AIN to the customer service person when transfering my call to customer service, who created an order and added the service to my phone line. Works for blocking boys who call my teen daughter at all hours of the day and night. I tell them once not to call after 9:00 PM, if they call a***n, I block them for good (double meaning intended). Caller ID: 800-708-6019 Caller: CCS Caller Type: Collection Agency

Got the voicemail that is telling me to check online, with a file number. I entered as instructed, but I got stuck. I guess so****ing is wrong with their online system. But for sure it does seem like a scam. Annoying.
I called # and asked what they wanted. Since they are looking for my husband they wont give me any info.(under federal law) but they keep calling *****en they ask for my phone#. Dont call me if your not going to help me. If i owe then say so****ing
calls at strange hours and on sundays.
Get phone calls at any hour telling me to go to certified notice.com and enter a file #. I refuse to call back anyone who leaves me a message with out telling me who they are.
CCS. They are calling for my 6 year old daughter. VERY RUDE! Collecting a debt for Quest Diagnostics
This # called and left a file # and web site www.certifiednotice.com. I looked on internet and found this - fraud and complaints. I am filing my complaint also Thank You, Celeste
Never received mailed notification (which they stated was sent) website w/file number does not work, did not leave name of company or purpose of call in message, had to google address buried in website for number, when I was actually able to pick up phone when they called it was still just a recorded message...the best way to get someone to pay for so****ing it to actually give them an idea of what the call is about, so****ing that it took me about 2 months due to discover due to their complete and total lack of information in messages and website (which does not work, nor provide any information of company name which led me to believe it was a scam until I kept receiving calls and googled the address on their website). Not sure all the complaining will do any good but this company is pathetic

Well the debt collectors have turned to wussies they dont even have the guts to call you their selves. They leave a phone # to call back and they are calling 3 and 4 times a day enough is enough this has to stop.
What is this?
VM for my minor child. advising to go to certified notice.com and enter # they leave. Want this to stop
CCS=certified notice----AIG thinks I owe them for a policy I never accepted from them----bought a policy over the phone from them several years ago--moved to SC a year and half ago---filed a windshield damage report 8 of 07, they s****ed to refuse to fix it, in SC it is a freefix, until I proved to them I was living down here---they then proceeded to cancel that policy and re-issue a new one--I never accepted that policy, found other insurance at STATE Farm AIG wanted $1496 for 6 mths/2 vehicles full coverage It was $696 STATE FARM $705 I dont owe anything to CCS or AIG but having a ball telling everyone my story. Have a sign on the back window of my van to that effect.
Same complaint as 'Meliss'....They called this morning asking me to submit my number at certifiednotice.com. After a quick online search, I found they've just been harassing people and your site came up 4th in my google search. So, hopefully the legitimacy of their calls is determined and they stop happening. They asked me to call:
I continually receive recorded phone messages for my daughter who's name is not even properly identified and who does not reside at my number or receive calls here either. I spoke w/a rep who would do nothing to answer my ??? re: the type of business or what this matter pertains to. Is this all we can do, report it here?? I only responded to the most recent call as curiosity got the best of me. I asked for them to remove my number from their list & I will not contact either of the numbers for this nuisance caller a***n.
I think this is a fraudulent company. They called and asked for a payment on an account I have with another company but I called the other company that is collecting my debtand said we did not send your account to another company. I cannot get a hold of them.

This computer keeps calling and calling. I have had a bankruptsy in the past and I think it is someone I bankrupted trying to collect a***n. I was told to ignore them and not even acknowlegde the calls, because if I did it might be construed as an admission that I still owe them a debt that has been bankrupted for 9 years now.

A ma****e calls, Never ever a human on the other side. They leave threatening messages day after day. They have our names, and obviously our phone number too. It is scary since they never identify themselves or leave a proper message with a name, company name, phone number etc as any decent business person would do. They are fishing for info if you asked me and I am getting real tired of it. Day after day after day after another day.... I took the time to call them back several times and I am left on hold listening to more threats and directions but never hearing them identify themselves, their business and their need to call our home.

We have also received this call several times a week. They ask for someone we've never heard of wanting to offer a business proposition. Says if not this other person, to please stay on the line for further information. IF I WANTED INFORMATION ON THEIR BUSINESS, I WOULD HAVE CALLED THEM!!!! STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!
Collection agencies do not fall under the National Do Not Call Registry's restrictions. Collection Agencies are governed by the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practice Act); therefore, to cease calls, you will need to do the following:(1) Send a letter to the agency via USPS Certified Mail with Return Receipt to cease calling you. NOTE: A Cease and Desist is different than this request and may bring on additional and immediate unwanted actions. Once the agency receives this, they are required by FDCPA to stop calling you, EXCEPT for the following:§ 805. Communication in connection with debt collection (c) CEASING COMMUNICATION. If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt, except— (1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector’s further efforts are being terminated; (2) to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or (3) where applicable, to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy. If such notice from the consumer is made by mail, notification shall be complete upon receipt.(2) File a complaint with the state's Attorney General's Office for which the company is located: http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/offices/usa_listings2.html(3) File a complaint with your state's Attorney General's Office: http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/offices/usa_listings2.html(4) File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC): http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm(5) File a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC): http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html(6) File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) office for which the company does business: http://welcome.bbb.org/(7) File a complaint with Consumer Sentinel: Consumer Sentinel 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20580 Website: http://www.consumer.gov/sentinelConsumer Sentinel is a consumer complaint database maintained by the Federal Trade Commission. See C.R.S. 6-1-303. A commercial telephone seller conducts business in the state if the telephone solicitations of prospective purchasers are made from locations in Colorado or solicitation is made of prospective purchasers located in this state. Telephone sellers should ask for the telemarketer registrar, who handles the registration. Consumers who do not want to receive uninvited commercial telephone solicitations may register on the Colorado and/or the national no-call lists. See “No-Call Laws” in this Resource Guide. General information about telemarketing fraud It is estimated telemarketing fraud costs consumers in excess of forty billion dollars each year. It can take many forms: phony prize promotions, credit repair scams, business opportunity and get rich quick schemes, and investment fraud. Also watch out for “sound-alike” charitable solicitations. Older Coloradans are often the ones victimized by telemarketers trying to take advantage of failing health or desperate financial concerns. Also check out the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, which can be accessed on the FTC’s website at www.ftc.gov. Protect yourself from telemarketing fraud Consumers can protect themselves from telemarketing fraud by: * Be su****ious of anyone calling your home or office promising prizes and awards if you agree to parti****te in their promotion. Most often, those prizes don’t exist. * Never give your credit card or bank account number to a stranger calling you on the telephone. * Never agree to purchase products sight unseen. * Don’t be pressured into parti****ting by claims that “today is the last day of promotion,” or “you must act now or you will lose out.” This is usually just a ploy to get you to buy. Any commercial telephone seller must allow a purchaser to cancel within three days after the purchaser's receipt of the goods, services or property. You must deliver or send written notice and return any goods.===========================================CCS (http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1998/06/ccs.shtm)Consumer Credit ServicesPhone: 800-731-0121Phone: 800-708-6019Fax: 800-279-698961 W Utha, Ste.63Las Vegas, Nevada, 89102Alternate: Office/prin****l place of business located: 1504 S. This is the second call I've received from this company stating that I have a debt with a cell company that I've never worked with. They're randomly picking names and numbers of people with similar names. Any ideas on how to get them to stop calling me for someone elses debt?
how do you STOP these harrassing phone calls??? Sunday evenings, holidays...it's awful!!!!!!!!!!
This company is beyond belief. They call and call my cell, at all hours (before 6AM and after 9pm); don't leave a "real" message, just that recording. When I do answer, it's still the recording and no one comes on. I don't have collections and can't get them to stop!
This is a collection agency and they will call until your account is resolved. They are rude so beware and don't be afraid to stand up to them. They will ask you if you would like to resolve the balance right then, but so no so you can work it out another way.
This number is automated and they call my cell severe times a week it needs to stop..
Constantly calls. Placed them on no call and they still keep coming. How can we stop this harressment??
asked for my name and file number. I **** up. I'm really getting abusive with them over the phone for wasting my phone time (cell phone. Can't the Gov't track who is licensed to use this number? They call even at 9pm which is illegal.
I received several calls from this agency late in the evening or early in the morning from an automated rep. The agency leaves messages for me to call back on MONDAY morning and then gave me a file number. I do not know what this is about or why they are calling me.
