called twice today under 2 different numbers and needs to stop

call and **** up and i am on a do not call list.

Repeated calls, daily (5-6) day after day after day, always at the most annoying times - finally answered today to tell them not to call - Caller ID said "800 Service" with 3800-709-8325. Caller said she was calling for the American Red Cross - I asked why, then, did my caller ID say "800 Services" and she repeated that she was calling for the American Red Cross" and I said "no thank you"and ***g up. If the American Red Cross is using this number for solicitations, they're going to lose money!

JUST CALLS EVERYDAY 3 TO 4 TIMES. NO ONE THER WHEN ANSWERED. PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP.

Call comes from Joseph Frontier Financial. They keep calling normally ****ing up when I answer. This time they asked for a Mrs Smith and when I told them no one lives here by that name then they asked for Larry. I a***n told them no one lives here by that name. Then they ***g up

Caller calls at all hours, and ****s up. They won't leave a message. Extremely annoying.

Caller ID says "Toll Free Call", even when picked up on first ring no one is there.

why is it when your on NO CALL LIST, that you still get calls invading your privacy?? needs to stop!!

This is a caller from the American Cancer Society "Notes to neighbors/Family to friends program". I believe they are looking for donations. I parti****te yearly in their "relay for life" event and suppose that's why they have my number. After seeing the other entried about being a debt collector I decided to call the number back to find out it was the ACS. Maybe the number has recently c****ed?

Calls constantly but does not leave a message. I'm on the NO CALL LIST so shouldn't these people be fined???

Call everyday and state that they have a check from me or my wife and want to verify imformation for security reasons. We have checked with our banks on checks not paid and there are none. Ongoing for months now. We are on the no call list but what a joke. Comcast was asked to block 800 numbers said they would next day Financial Frontier a***n.

Calls every day very early and very late...and even on Sundays and holidays but wont leave message!

We recieve three or four calls a day all week long from this number. When answered there is no response and within 15 to 20 seconds the line goes dead.

Our complaint is the same as everyone else's. Caller doesn't leave a message, and calls numerous times a day. The maddening thing is, we get 4 to 6 calls a day from 4 to 6 different toll free numbers, plus various other unwanted callers (ADA, Share Group, Fia Card, Bank of America, etc.). Wish there was so****ing that could be done to stop this. We are on the "do not call" list, and have been for many years.

Someone from this number often calls my household, lets it ring three times, and ****s up. Today, Super Bowl Sunday, they did it a***n. I don't normally answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize. They are getting to be a pain, and I hope they cease and desist. Is it a collection agency (which I have no reason to receive these calls), or the American Cancer Society? If it's the latter, I will never donate money to the organization a***n.

Removing your number from their list (by calling the number back and select #1 then #3) is the best solution...but you can also try this....if you subscribe to a digital phone provider such as Comcast, go online to your provider's website and configure your "phone calling preferrences" to selectively call-foward all calls from American Cancer Society 800-709-8325 back to themselves at 800-227-2345 which is their main number. Then they can pester themselves.

American Cancer Society - I will never donate a***n.  A**holes for calling and ****ing up.  Interesting that they will call you on Sa****ay and Sunday but you can't talk to them on Sa****ay or Sunday if you call this number.  You can however call anytime per the other messages on this post and be removed from their listing.

Care to be prosecuted????? That's what's going to happen!!

I am getting calls incessantly, and do not pick up.  Of course, there's no voice message, so it's a sneak attack.  The claim is the American Cancer Society.  (There's always the possibility that it's a s****.)  l went through the process of being removed.  For me it's a test case to see whether it will work.  After a point, calls, regardless of the cause, are harrassing.  AMS's business practice can only lead to a Do Not Call List for charities.  How short-sighted.  I woulldn't trust them with a donation.

Keep getting calls every week from American Cancer Society 800-709-8325.They Obviously don't take NO for an answer. They just keep calling and calling and calling.

I called the number back adn it was also American Cancer Society.  I could not get the options to delete my number, but they gave this number to call and speak to someone: 866-435-7227.  I did and spoke with Samanatha (last name omitted) and the supervisor ***ndon (last name omitted) and requested our number be removed. I talked to the supervisor because when I answered it before and requested we be removed they would **** up on me.

We've been getting calls nightly from this number, and if I pick up there is no one there. So I called the number, got the "American Cancer Society Notes to Neighbors Program," and the recorded message gave me a long series of prompts which finally culminated in a choice to have my number removed from their calling list. I entered it -- we'll see...The American Cancer Society should be ashamed of themselves -- I guess their true colors are showing.

I never answer calls that I don't recognize, either.  I figure if they need to talk to me, they'll leave me a message...usually they never do so the heck with 'em.  If they keep calling and calling...I just pick up and quickly **** up the phone...just to get it to stop ringing.

I have also been getting calls from this number at random times of the day. It's the American Cancer society. Call the number back and listen to the options to take your number of the calling list.

They keep calling, but no one is there. After a few moments of me saying "Hello?" I get a busy signal.I work nights & "try" to sleep during the day. This is maddening!

8007098325 called, I didn't answer since I was in church at the time,  Then I read these comments.  Don't know why they would call me, but I'll try to put a block on this number - maybe a good suggestion for those who have the option.

Calling on behalf of American Cancer Society

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID "not provided"  Probably a collection agency looking for my son.  This people are relentless.  They don't leave a message.  I am tired of all these calls.  I don't answer any number that I don't recognize.

Ron - I have received several calls from 800-709-8325 (1/2/11 & 1/4/11) which showed on my caller ID as unavailable; however, after some research I found a page on a really NASTY collections company called NCO FINANCIAL SYSTEMS which buys good bebt, bad debt, and any debt for pennies on the dollar and has been sued for 1.5 million for violations of the Fair Collections Act and is continuing to rack up complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Pennsylvania Attorney General where the company is based. The page lists quite a few numbers used by this company including a number that begins with (800) 709; therefore, it is most likley this outfit calling. They break the Fair Collections Act and each state's Fair Collections laws left & right!! Do Not Answer These Calls!! Go to http://www.callferret.com/nco-financial-systems.html and read the comments, also google NCO Financial Systems and you'll find many more disturbing facts about this company. Send a CERTIFIED CEASE COMMUNICATION LETTER if the calls continue and file complaints with the FTC & PA Attorney General & the Attorney General of your state which will back them off and put you in a position to SUE THEM!!
