I think you all need to realize that the people you should be upset and disappointed with are the people that are putting you down as realtives and references. They are not being responsible and it is trickling down to you. If someone "stole" so****ing valuable to you, you would do anything in your means to get it back. These people are trying to collect things that have been "stolen" due to broken promises. When you were a child and you were irresponsible and you got in trouble were you kissed and hugged or were you repremanded for your bad behavior? These people not paying their bills are acting as irresponsible kids and everyone blogging acts as though they need to be "hugged and kissed" for their actions. I will agree, know who you are talking to first, no child should ever be victimized!, but if its an adult, either help work to help them get the item back, which would probably help the person anyways because it is out of their means obviously or if its you, just make means to give it back. You fail to see that by the time it gets to them you/they have been given ample opportunity to make payments, arrangments and anything else that was offered by the creditor. By the time it gets to these people there is no option other than to recover the property because you, or your reative are not of good word. Who are you really mad at? Them, for doing their job? or you or your relative/friend for bringing you down with their spiraling act of irresponsiblity? C'mon.
I received a call from a Noe Cordova in Dallas, Tx, extension 258, who began by telling me he was from the Mazuma Credit Union and the call was about my car loan payments being in arrears. I told him I didn't own that kind of car and the SSN he read me was not mine. I did not tell him it was my son because I don't give out that information to anyone I don't know, and very seldom over the phone if I do know who I am talking to. I left the house for about an hour and had two more phoncalls from this **** on my answering ma****e when I got back. The first wasn't too bad, but about two minutes later he called a***n and this time went into a catharsis that he had done a search on my son and myself and other things including that he needed to pick up the car. He called me a liar twice, immature once, and then proceded to disparage my character. He doesn't know me and had no business speaking that way to me. His at***ude ended his chances of me ever working with him. I never called him back, but complained about him to the credit union who hired him. I then played them the tape of the conversation and told them they should be more selective of who they hired. He hasn't called back since, and I would not respond to him if he did. He is a real ****, but I suppose that is what one should expect from this type of caller being in the bottom-feeder business category. Most seem to have a freight-train mouth tied on to their hummingbird ****, but I don't have to listen to them.
I have been harrassed by Investigator Morris on both my work cell and my work office. She has threatened to send agents to my work and my house. When I informed her what she was doing was illegal. She says she is not a collection agency so she is not held to the same rules.
I just recieved a call from a Michelle Stewart posing as an insurance investigator stating my number was a contat number left by a neighbor, whom I did not recognize. So it was a strange call from the s****. She then s****ing fishing for an address and this was related to an insurance claim the neighbor was involved. However she wanted me to return the call. When I did return the call she answered as Investigator Stewart. I asked her what firm she was with and what they did. She stated Matthews and Michaels and that they were an insurance firm. I s****ed laughing and when I began to inform her to please not call this number she interupted stating she knew the drill. I guess she figured she was busted. they probably violated at least 5 federal laws on this one call
