Bank of America gave me this number. I called the number on the back of my card. I got 3 commercials, then "call this number." I called it. I got another robot. It said it could not help me either. It said to call this number, the one we are talking about. It couldn't help me and said to this number. It was the same number. On my phone, it said Sugar Hill Records. Since I called BofA, I wasn't too concerned about what I told them. While I didn't give out anything sensitive information, I'm still concerned. I'm going down to BofA tomorrow and talk to them in person.

I received a call from an insurance company which was legit. When I called the number back, I received a message stating the ins. company's # had c****ed to 1-800-712-6600. When I called that #, it was a recorded msg about free 411 and then ads followed. Def. some kind of scam!

i was actually given the number.  at the end of the automation, there is an option to make a 5-minute call.  it works, i have used it several times.  you might want to use it in the future.

I work for a phone company. we've been receiving complaints about this 8007126600.  I believe it may be a call pumping scheme.  since the 411 service has adverts on it, it may be charging the ad holders on a per call basis

I called my Citi credit card at 800-950-5114 regarding my credit card account.  I was told to call 800-712-6600.  I did not do this as it sounded fishy.  I ***g up and tried my credit card company a***n and got in ok.  The lady I talked to had no idea what was going on.

I got a call from a rose****ter, said she was calling about an important business item in my name and to call 800-366-0299, when I called it said the number had been c****ed for my area and to call 800-712-6600... I called and it didn't seem legit so I ***g up

I have been getting a call on my cell for the last week every morning that is unavalible today they left me a page(like a text) to call 1-888-534-1434 i blocked my # and called it and as stated above it said it had c****ed for my area and too call 1-800-712-6600 blocked my # a***n it is some kinda of b.s for verizon and a few others.... Im getting ready to call verizon right now cause they are my carrier.

I called Wells Fargo Home Mortgage at 866-412-1472 and was told that number had been c****ed to 800-712-6600.  When I called the new number, the recording s****ed talking about so****ing to do with Verizon.  I ***g up.  I wanted to talk to the Mortgage company.  What in the world is going on?

I got a call from a number 800-622-1631 that left a message about about verifying charges on my max cu credit card, when i called the number it said it had been c****ed to 800-712-6600.

I called 1-877-VIZA-WEB and got a recording that said the phone number had c****ed and the new number was 800-712-6600. As some posters mentioned above, I did not get the usual shrieking sound that signals that a number is no longer in service.

I received cell phone call and it went to my voicemail. The message was from a man named "David" and that he was with Wells Fargo Auto Financial?  He left the following number for me to call back...888-775-6957.  When I returned the call today; the message on the phone told me that the number had been c****ed and that I was to call 800-712-6600.  I have not called that number.  I don't do have any financial dealings with Wells Fargo concerning auto loans.  Plus I'm not in the market to buy a car either.  They maybe fishing for information.

I did not receive a call, but looked on my bank statement and saw that $24.95 has been debitted from my bank account!!!!I called 800-475-5507 that was listed by the charge and it told me to call 800-712-6600..what do I do??? Has anyone been able to get in touch with a person from this #???

I rec'd. a call from 8004489578, when I called back, the recording said to call 8007126600.  I called, there was 1st ads for a Walmart, then all kinds of "free" (?) games, jokes, etc.  It also said if you held on, it was a "free" (?) 800 info number (like 8005551212).  I ***g up, so I don't know if any of this is true.  I don't know the name of the original company who called me, so I couldn't ask for the new number for 8004489578.  I hope this helps.amya

I received a job offer off of Craig's list. They said that they are a online company called "trigemedia" and that they make websites for fortune 500 companies. They gave me websites to go to to check if they were working well but I noticed that all the sites I went to had misspelled words (which is weird for a fortune 500 company) so I researched "Trigemedia" and it had a telephone number to contact which in turn gave me the number to redirect to which was 800-712-6600. I called it and a recording came up saying Free 411 information. Interesting... glad I researched the company before investing time into it. Do you think I got charged for the 411?

My neighbor came to my house this morning saying someone had a package for me from this number 8003957560. When I called it said the number was c****ed to 800 712 6600. From the person above, it didnt have the "shrieking diit-doot-deeeet" so when I called the number it says free 411 and send me a text message from Sprint asking me to contact them. I dont have sprint as a carrier. So i called, of course they dont have anything for me... Kinda weird.

We called the Medicare number for NHIC (877-591-1587) and, if you call after hours, you get a message to call 800-712-6600.Note that NHIC is no longer the California Medicare provider, so they probably aren't paying attention to the line.  If you call the number, you get several sales pitches.  We ***g up.Note that the message telling us that the number had c****ed did *not* have the phone company tones (that shrieking diit-doot-deeeet) on the front of them that signifies that it's a genuine "forward" from the phone company-- it could have been a hacked voicemail box for all I could tell.

A very nice young man saying he was ANDY Called my friend saying they were verifying employment of my daughter and gave her full married name! What was even more strange was my daughter has not applied for a position and has been with the same company for 13 years.  Even stranger is that my daughter is in Florida and my friend was in Louisiana. My friends husband said she was not in (his wife that they were calling - and they even asked for her by name).  The husband asked if he could get a number and have her return the call.    When you call 800-562-2505, ext. 44539 you are then asked to call the new number 800-712-6600.  Thank goodness my dear friend returning the call had since enough to **** up and not call the 1010158000 number.  Scarey!  Especially since the person calling knew my daughters name, my friends name, etc.
