Same story, called my parents and asked for me to call back. very fishy.
Parents got call with recorded voice mentioning me. They called multiple times adding more information with each cal. They were fishing for information.I called this number and a recorded womens voice said enter your key card number.
Heh, in an odd female synth voice they tried to get me to call the number back. I did, it asked me to enter my account codes, etc.. Anyone got any police bait accounts #'s we could give em?
Just to follow up, I called back a***n, and this time got a very staticy recording saying that it was Chase and to enter my security password. Um, I don't deal with this bank, so obviously a scam. Be weary of this. It's sad how most of the 800 or 866 calls I get (and I'm on a do not call list!) are bogus. Heads up
Got a call from this number on my landline, came up as 'unavailable'. I called back with my cell phone and there was silence for about 10 seconds, then a busy signal. Does anyone know what this number is? I'm sure it's so****ing shady....
