Leave a CommentI often receive these bogus credit card refinance calls as well. Seen several different numbers and names, but similar messages. Someone pointed out that you can file a complaint with the FCC about this. Here is the page for that: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm I filed my complaint under "telemarketing".
calls asking to call back for debt reduction. has been plaguing my work cellphone.
Multiple calls, even though we are on the do not call list. Tried calling them to inquire about being removed from their list directly, and they ***g up on me all three times!
these people are idiots. whenever they call I ask them to remove me from their list and they **** up on me.

i have received NUMEROUS calls from Gary Miller on a work telephone number. Everytime I call back to be removed, I am ***g up on.
They are calling a Business help desk number and is very annoying.
I have received at least 2 voice mails from this company. When I call the number back to get removed from the calling list, I get ***g up on. The problem that I have with this is that they keep calling my business phone. And isn't it illegal to not remove someone from a calling list if they ask to be taken off?
They repeatedly call my aged mother and when I call them they **** up!
UNIVERSITY LI***RY OFFICE AND THESE CALLS ARE DISTURBING MY COWORKERS AND ME!!! I CALLED 3 TIMES AND THEY ***G UP WHEN I TRIED TO ASK TO BE REMOVED. THEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, ASKED HIM NOT TO **** UP OR I WOULD REPORT HIM AND GIVE THE NUMBER TO BE REMOVED. HE SAID HE WOULD. I HOPE I DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE FURTHER ACTION. BE PERSISTENT--JUST THE WAY THEY ARE!!! BUG THEM TO ***** WITH CALLS.
I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD AND THESE CALLS TO MY JOB ARE MORE THAN ANNOYING. LET'S KEEP CALLIMG THEM BACK AND HARASSING THEM!!!
I called this number back and a young lady answered and actually laughed when I said to remove my number. She promptly ***g up the phone
Leaving VM on the number he dialed, has qualified for a Debt Reduction Program. When I called the number back it was an operator with alot of background noise of voices. Before I mentioned that the number was a business, she asked if I had credit card debt, then she ***g up on me. Same experience as ****WELL
Called and would not identify what company they were with. Did not ask for personal information initially-just tried to verify your phone number.
Same expericence. What I find to be funny is if this call is so imperative, why don't they actually call rather than have a ma****e do it.
This is a bottom feeding collection agency. dont return calls and don't give them your information. they can't do anything to you. they are the lowest of the s*** collection agencies. thanks
I receive at least one message a week with this same message. Today I called and asked to have my number removed from their database, and they ***g up on me....twice. Then I called and asked to speak to a manager and they offered to remove my phone number. Then, I still asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and was ***g up on a***n, 6 more times. Hopefully the calls will stop, but I hope someone finds a way to get rid of these people!
I got the same thing as Sally reported.
I had been getting a lot of calls from these people at work. They would leave voice mails telling me to call them back. I called them back asking to have my number removed and each time they ***g up on me. It seemed like a fast and ***** call center. The 5th time I called, I pretended to be Gary Miller with 70K in credit card debt and I wanted to talk about reducing my debt. I was transfered to someone else and he read back the number that shows on his caller ID (not my Direct Dial number) I told him my real number and that I wished to be removed from their database as I don't want them calling me anymore. He then told me, "I can't take this call because you are on the Do Not Call List, so I'll remove your number." and he ***g up.Of course he won't do anything with my number, in fact they my ramp up the autodialer calls to me just out of spite.People might try looking for the wave file "SIT-VC.WAV". It's the U.S. SIT (Special Information Tones) signal: Vacant Circuit (out of service or nonexistent phone number). Play this tone and the "robots" calling you will remove your number or flag it as no good.
They say I owe a bunch of credit card debt then ask me for my card number so they can "help me" get out of debt. I never got to talk to Gary Miller. It sounded like an Asian "boiler room". When I asked how they got my number, they ***g up on me -- not once but three times. They finally said they would take my name off their list.
