Leave a CommentImpersonating a place called Central Reservations (centralreservations.net?), they told me I have won 2 round-trip plane tickets and need to call them within 24 hours. I highly doubt this is the real Central Reservations.
If you have a credit card the company can call you. Not sure they would not leave message but they can call even if your on the Nation reg.. Sorry Guys read your fine print on your terms about them calling
I called them back 20 times just to see how they like it. They have a system setup trying to con Equity card holders into releasing account information. No matter the option you choose, you end up with a lady asking for your account number. If you wait, they **** up; if you press 0 for operator, they **** up; enter some numbers and press pound, they ask for full length. I entered the number 5 16 times, LONG pause, then ***g up. If I find out who is registered to this number, big lawsuit coming in along with BBB. No idea how they got a hold of my business private direct number, but they're finished seeing as I have my business all calls made on my business line recorded. Not the first phishers I put out.
3 calls from this number in last 2 days. We answer each time but they **** right up, as seems to happen for some others. We do have a First Equity business card too. Possibly it is a call center calling out 20 numbers at a time and we may not be answering on the very first ring! We are current on our account, but could they be checking to see if we are still in business? Maybe CC Co's are getting nervous w/ the downturn.
I plan to cancel my card trhe next time they call.
they just called me- didnt answer - got a blank message. i thought if you were on the do not call list ****** people like this wouldn't call you...hmmmmm...?
Called a***n, no message.
They have called a few times and never left a message... I do have a first equity card, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't leave a message or identify themselves... it seems a little shady.
called no one answered
They keep calling and ***ody ever say's anything. I am on the do not call list.
they keep calling me and ****ing up as I don't have their card anymore they still think I should have their protection plan and they said they will call me until I sign up, I don't even have FE's card anymore canceled it due to their harras*****t calls
This is First Equity Credit Protection program. They kept calling my cell phone and ****ing up, so I decided to dial the number back to see who it was.
What can I do about this call. I want them to stop calling and saying nothing.
Phone ring, I picked it up; a man ask for me saying my name, I answered "yes I am" and ****-up. Okay! now I know after I read all reported comments about it, no more surprising what ever they are trying to do!!! isn't it? Who ever doing this are waisting time @ first and a 1800 number get charged to some point!! What big loosers!!!
same thing, two **** up calls, but even if we answer.
Thank you everyone for your input. I too have been receiving two calls a day for months. The call would go to the voice mail and then **** up only after leaving no message.
Number just keeps ****ing up when I answer...
Calls once or twice daily for the last few days, but does not leave any message. First Equity would make sense since we have a business credit card with them. Based on the comments left by others, it sounds as if they are pit****g their "Protection Plan". I am not 100% sure what this is, but likely a insurance product that allows you to miss payments in the event of job loss or diability.
First Equity credit protection. I was getting 2 **** up calls per day. I called the 800 number and they wanted the last 4 of my SS #. Yeah right. I mentioned I was on the national do not call list. If I had one more phone call from them it would be between my lawyer and them.
said it was "First Equity Protection Plan". I have no idea who that is.
Would not identify himself, and was asking for my husband, who was not available to take the call. The guy said he would call back.
I decided to answer and they asked for me by name, but I didn't bother to continue the call sincethey didn't identify themselves first. Callers -- sales, collections, etc. -- are required by law to identify themselves at the beginning of the conversation. If they don't and you find out who they are, you can theoretically turn them in to federal authorities.
Called and ***g up on the answering ma****e...
They didn't leave a message .. just called and ***g up when they got the answering ma****e.
