Tim from Aviawest/Nanaimo - allegedly confirming registration information to win a Lexus. Never entered such a contest, obvious scam.

I too got a call from this number and was left a message.  Obviously a scam about advancing to the early bird draw for the Lexus.  My message was from Zoe, so glad the name is being c****ed up once in a while.  Asked me to call back 1-800-728-1695 Ext. 8370 and quote the reference number she left.

I would like to kindly verify for all of you that in fact Aviawest is not a scam!!!People enter Aviawest's draw in all sorts of places The info is collected and entered into a data base. It is all keyed by phone numbers and ballot numbers. Over time if your not contacted on that draw your phone number is rolled over in to the next years draw, (or perhaps a few years from now).!!!!!!!!!!!AVIAWEST DOES NOT SELL PHONE NUMBERS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I got a call from 1800-728-1695 ext 8313She was very helpful and explained everything to me!!!!I would ask you to call and do the same. I also got some really nice free things for the 90 minutes I spent listening to a fellow speak about vacations. I got a $50 gift certificate and a 2/1 trip to any one of there resorts. Not so bad at all.

Got the same call today as everyone else regarding a draw I had entered for the lexus.  I was curious because I did remember entering a draw at Little Ceasers pizza about a month ago but now I found this site and see what a scam it is.  They told me the draw would be an April 1.  I bet you a million dollars they will call me back saying I won the car or I am a finalist but I have to go to Nanaimo for a seminar blah blah blah.

Hi all,Just received a call from alocal Nanaimo # 250-716-2650 the Contact name was Lynn.  I did enter a draw at Boston Pizza but after receiving tis message and doing a little research found the reverse phone # look up wasfrom a company called Aviawest! Googled them and well pretty much answered NONE of my questions!!!Dare I phone back? If so,  give me some questions you may want answered ~ I'll ask it all!!!!Thank you for this "Awareness Site"! This **** should be put to an end!!Next task ~ Why would Boston Pizza (a Franchise but a locally owned business allow this?)!!!Let's get to the bottom of it!

Got a call from these people today - I do ***uely recall entering a draw for a Lexus Hybrid at a trade show a while back, and noticing (after I put my ballot in the box) that it seemed to be a timeshare company. So I am putting 2 and 2 together from these posts and figuring that's what it must be about. But they sure took their time in phoning me back! The show was more than a month ago.

My wife also got a call from Kathy @ aviawest telling her that she had been selected for the Semi-Finals in the draw for the Lexus.  Her extension num was 8312.  What a load of **** - nuthin in life is for free, especially not a lexus!!  I don't wanna waste my time sitting through a ****** sales pitch for 2 hours to buy a timeshare that i can't afford.

Got the call today (Jan 29, 2009) Same M.O. as above. Said I was a finalist in a draw for a Lexus Hybrid. I was at the Motorcycle show in Abbotsford last weekend and entered a few draws there, so maybe that's how they got my name!I was curious until I found this site, thanks,

I didn't entered a draw either and I am interested where did they get my number. Called back and left a message on the answering ma****e (a/m speaker ****s, so I couldn't get all details). i got a Messang from a woman named Amanda that i had entered a draw to Win a Lexus Hybrid and to phone at 1-800-728-1695 Ext 8351 and to phone between 10-3 tues-fri and that they would be looking forward to my call

Well it looks like they are still at it. I got a call from Janet from this company to call them back at 1-800-728-1695 with her ext. 8354 between 10-3 tues-fri. She used my name and said that I had entered to win a draw for a 2009 Lexus SUV and so****ing about an early bird draw and that they wanted me to come in to confirm my details. Thought about calling but then googled the name and found this sight, so now I will pass. Thanks

Received a call today from this number aviawest in Nanaimo - they said that "William" entered the draw for either himself or Cindy for a 2008 Lexus.  The caller said to call the office and ask for extension 8316.  What I don't understand is how William entered this draw as he's been deceased since March 2007.

I got a call from "Peter" from (250)716-2650 from Aviawest Resorts Inc.Saying that I won a 3 years lease of a 2008 Lexus Hybrid Suv. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE."Peter" said to call him back at 1-800-728-1695 ext# 8332 and if not available leave ALL my #'s so he can get a hold of me, yeah right!.I called both #'s (of course I blocked the calls) and they are both for the same company.The operator(ma****e) told me that if need it more info to go to www.aviawest.com and guess what it is a TimeShare company. ***** that!!!I know that I did not entered no draws anywhere specially from March and May like "Peter" said, I was out of the country from January till July(fishy eh!!)so this is how these people get anyone phone #1.you enter your name and info at any draws for free once (w***ver) they got your info, this people collect all the info from all the entries and they sell the info to marketing company etc.. of course you never bother on finding out when and where the draws is going to be, so you can attend to see if there's        "true draws".this is how they sell the info10,000 person's info for $500 30,000 person's info for $1000so and so is the same with your emails, now your wonder where "spam" company keep emailing you.

My wife received a call this afternoon from some one working for AVO West. She said that we entered a draw for a 2008 Lexus Hybird SUV and our names are in the "finals", which means we have the chance to win the SUV and 2 other guaranteed prizes out 6. She wanted us to book an appointment with her and come down to their place for a 90 mins seminar. She promised that no purchase is needed and we are guaranteed to win 2 prizes. So does anyone know what kind of deal is that? We don't remember we have entered any draw. But where did they get our names, phone number and the most recent address???

It's making the rounds.  I just got home to find a message from a Harold Bell, of AVO West Nanaimo, who wants me to call him back about a draw for a 2008 Lexus Hybrid SUV.  The number he gave was 1-800-728-1695, exttension 8307.I don't enter draws - does anyone know what the story on this is?

I got the same call today saying I had entered a draw for a lexus hybrid. Kimberly left a message asking me to call back between 10 to 3 weekdays and leave a number that I can be contacted on. The number she asked me to call was 1 800 728 1695 ext 8316. I know that I did not enter a draw because I have been living out of the country for the last 4 years and just arrived back. Probabley a time share deal or so****ing. I am curious but not curious enough to call back. Too much hassle.

Recived call from ????. Amber left a message from AVO West. She said my and my wifes names and that we had put in for a draw for a lease of a Lexus Hybrid. She wanted me to call 1-800-728-1695 ext 8323 between 10-3 weekdays. She also gave me a compe***ion number to quote when I called. I have not returned the call but I must say I am curious.

Message left about first round I had won, now they needed further info.
